2024 Uconnect constant reboots

For the past several weeks the Uconnect system in my 2024 Rubicon has been going crazy. Constant issues where there would be no volume, stuck in reboots or just a black screen. The only way to clear it up would be to pull the battery cable. That would last a few hours and issues would come back. The other day, I removed the extension cable connected to the security gateway module I used with Jscan. I have not had another issues with the Uconnect in 3-4 days. Could the extension cable cause this if it had a short or just a coincidence.?

Yes, have had that recently as well in my 2024. For me it seems to resolve on its own but pretty annoying. If it is still happening Will ask the dealership next time I take it in for service.

no real fix. we're replacing radios on units that do this. the 25-26 rams are really bad for this issue as well. i get like 5-10 complaints about this a week and zero bulletins about it other than to factory reset the radio and then replace the radio if it continues to happen, which isn't a real fix.

I thought I would update my original post. After removing the extension cable connected to the security gateway module, I have not had a single issue with the Uconnect. While it still could be a coincidence only time will tell how it works out for me.
