It’s anything over 6k gvwr. Most wranglers come with about 800 pounds of payload so their true weight is that much less than their gross weight rating. It’s also why half ton trucks are eligible, many of them aren’t 6k rolling around but they have a rating of around 6,850 lbs and therefore automatically qualify.
