My lease is nearing its end, and I am thinking of trading in my '21 JLU Willy's vs keeping it & building it up. Want a Rubicon...but; the '24 models look like they are taking a price hike. I may, also, look for a '23 Rubicon left on a lot somewhere vs a '24 model. However, I have also been thinking about the '24 Willy's (with the eLocker standard now).

Need some help finding information that I just cannot seem to locate (yet):
1. Given all the upgrades that the '24 models are seeing, will the Willy's model finally come with 68" wide axles (similar what the Rubicons have from '18-'23)? This is one of the things that really bothers me about my current Willy's, with its narrower axle width.

2. Is the new full float rear axle going to be available, as an option, on the '24 Willy's models?

3. Also thinking of getting the Xtreme 35 package. Does anyone know if these will be shipping with HD axles, like the recent Xtreme Recon packages were coming with or is this really just a small lift, tire, and gearing upgrade? Folks with the current XR package, what were your thoughts on the XR axles vs the standard axles?

The Willys comes standard with the HD wide axles. No full float on Sports.

I have a 2022 Willys with Xtreme recon that I am now adding a front locker. If I was to do again, I would get a Rubicon. It was my first Jeep and I did not realize the benefits of the auto disconnect and the lockers. Not sure if I would get with the xtreme recon package because long term I would like 37" and at least a 3" lift and it already comes with the regular 44's. I hear the 2024 Willys will have a rear locker which is great, so if you go with a Willys the $4000 price for the Xtreme Recon is well worth it, long term just to get the HD 44 vs. the 30 and the 4.56 gear ratio is a big deal, then you get the 1.5" lift which is just enough to run the 35" tires.
