Skids even if you’re not rock crawling. I had a stick hit my trans line just driving on a gravel road.

Watch out for the mods that will void your warranty. Some tire and wheel mods. Some lifts. C a tazzer that is still maried at service time. Things like that

Going to make some assumptions since I don't your objectives, goals, or intentions.

Assumption: You want to go off-road and as you do you add, delete and modify.

!). The first thing I did with my Jeep and especially my Rubicons from my first one in 2003 and now 5 Rubis later is I go buy a set of tires, OFFROAD tires. For my 2024 Rubi, I put on a set of 35x 12:50 GY Duratracs. Best overall tires I have ever run on a Jeep that serves more masters, Daily driver in the city, Moab, and everything in between. Later you may wish to choose the trails that exist beyond a 6 rated and then you can make the move to 37s and BFG KM2s, they are the best. I should know...When they came I was living in Scottsdale AZ and the home of Discount Tire. They called me up and asked me to run them and give my opinion. I had been running GY MTRs. I dropped by and they put them on my Walker Evans Beadlocks and headed out to Table Mesa area N of Phoenix and knew where the Hard trails were. I wheeled the rest of the day and got back just before closing and said: You ain't getting these back, but tire I have ever run in over 30 years wheeling. I ran the KM2s for the neex 8 years and 80k miles (NOT on the same tires but I bought new tires every 12 x 18 months). All I did was wheel...

2). I assume your first Jeep. The Rubicon you bought in OEM form, give it a good set of tires. and a great driver can do almost any marked legit trail in the US. The point being: Your Jeep Rubicon has more ability, capability than you do. Now that you have a good set of running shoes on. your Jeep, hit the trails and learn the ropes!

Let me address a few other things I have seen here LOL, WOW!

Struts. Don't have them, don't need them. You see you Jeep hood has one strut that holds it up for minor stuff, If you want to really work on it then the Jeep Hood made that EASY...it folds back against the windshield, completely out of your way.

Gears/Tons: Your Jeep came with an excellent set of axles and you have at least 4:10s if not the optional 4:88. Either way use those axles you have to train on and when you are ready to cross the lines to the 7++ trails then you want to move to big axles. I did this and sold my Rubicon axles for $2000 bucks back in 2004 and put in a pair of Dynatrac Pro Roc 60s, High Pinion, 40 spline axles, and ARBs. They were my graduation present to me from my wife and I had crossed the line to play on the big boy trails.

Now you have a goalpost to aim at if you decide to go that far by then you should have a 3 in lift and are going to 37s. I have never found a need for anything bigger, because I learned to wheel! You need 40s like you need an Accoridon on your next trip to Pritchett Canyon, Moab.

Now go have fun and learn as you go to develop your confidence to reach for the big boy trails...

Seriously, don't do a thing to it for 6 months to a year. Get it out on trails and learn what it can do totally stock. You will be amazed at how capable it is right off the dealer lot. With that under your fingertips it will inform just exactly what you want to improve about the Jeep and the best course of action.

Do you have any other pictures of the front of your Jeep? Something where it’s not flexed?

That is a fine looking Rubi. I would second the hood struts and say also to look for 392 takeoff wheels and tires.

Some nice custom desert pinstriping is always a good option. Never alone.

I heartily agree about the hood struts. I just got some for my 392, really helps.

I also bought weathtech mat for the rear. Their mats are very well engineered and made. Much better than the mopar mat I had on my 2019 JLu
