Anyone else having this problem? Started today at 6k miles. Only way to get navigation to start working again is to turn the jeep on and off. Even then it freezes once in a while. Getting annoyed.

Is it the factory navigation or are you talking about android auto and or carplay?

I've not used factory navigation, only Google maps, and onx using Android Auto.

I don't plan to use the factory navigation either, it's not even close to convenient compared to integration from your phone.

With that said, I've had no issues with Android Auto navigation.

I agree, however there are some rare occasions where I’m in the middle of nowhere and outside of cellphone reception areas and after stopping for gas my phone stops providing directions when I unplug it from the car. I usually download the maps prior to heading out, but I’m not religious about it so the Jeep navigation becomes my primary source of directions.

Reason why I asked the OP if he used his phone is there is a known issue with some Jeeps, mine included, when using the USB plug in the glove box. It will temporarily allow carplay or android auto before freezing and then disconnecting you. I can only use the ports on the center console below the radio.

Mine does that and I've been using the port in the center console like you mentioned. I agree the factory navi sucks and I use Google Maps too most of the time.

The factory nav shouldn't be freezing regardless and I made this post to see if others are having a similar problem and possible solutions.

Happy New Year!

Sometimes you just have to do a soft reset for the 2024 Wrangler 4Xe. Usually it is when live traffic goes out for a bit. The normal navigation though.... never an issue.
