2024 Grab Handles

Well yeah, that's a given but early on they seemed to be spinning it that there were possible issues DYI'ing it due to the proximity to the airbag mechanism. Nice to learn that was all bullshit.

For sure. I was happy when I got them and realized they weren’t more involved.

Got my 2024 392 with SOT today, and I was wondering if anyone that has the MOPAR ones, do they bounce off the driver and passenger windows? I saw some video online about that, and was curious. That would be annoying LOL

I just junked my strap on handles because they hung low and were annoying

If they hang low u can put one of the screws in more forward hole then they r perfect..nice option with 2024 handles

So I'm gonna jump in on this thread to follow-up with the grab handles...anyone have any long term issues with the screw holding up? Issues with the airbag, not that it deployed. I just bought a 2025 JL sport 4 door and as a long time Wrangler owner, was a little taken aback that Jeep would even mess with that sacred area we always put the grab handles on. I know this thread is a good 6-7 months old, but did not see anything for the 2025 version. I've previously used Bartact and love those, but because my last one had the Bestop Sunrider, I had to order a different one and the colors were not exactly a match, but it worked. I see now Bartact is listing some for 2024-2025 and looks to use the intended holes...anyone buy these? Or recommend other brand that works. And speaking of the Bestop Sunrider, was upset that I got the hardtop again and my first purchase was gonna be the Sunrider...but they don't have it yet...and it's because the side curtain airbag section is much wider than before...and I'm guessing they might not want to mess with it. Bestop replied that they have not tested it yet...Hope they figure it out...yeah yeah, I could have just bought the soft top....

they are too long to work well and tend to flop around in your peripheral vision. My wife is 5'1" and my jeep is lifted on 35's and they hang too low for her to work well.

Hey there - thought I'm chime in and let you know that our Sunrider for Hardtop DOES fit the 2025 JL's, Quality confirmed that a few months back!

Did you ever find any that you dont have this issue with? I was getting ready to order these but saw your other thread of them and I am having second thoughts. Also what was the exact issue? Did they not hang low enough to grab or were they too low to grab and use to get in?

I never tried any others. Bartacts hang too low. they are a little long and altho it seems like it would be easy to shorten them it is not. the way the grommet is placed on the doubled over sewn end it makes difficult to shorten. I ended up running a piece of coat hanger thru the center to keep them from flopping around but not ideal.

Thank you! That’s exactly what I was wondering. Do you think they hang lower than the Velcro ones a lot of people run?

I don't know. I do know on all my JK's I had the grab handles that come with the Rubicons and I liked them better but they don't work with the airbags on 2024's
