That's what I've gathered from pretty much every post I've seen from anyone who has ordered it as a factory option on a JL; but apparently some people say they aren't even shipping the hood vent with the vehicle to the dealer anymore. Either way I'll like it; if it ships from the factory with the hood vent already done or if it gets to the dealer without it cut and I'll get the AmFib low mount snorkel.
