Been here since the day this thread started! It was nice to have a place to complain and vent away from all of the happy people getting their jeeps in under a month and a half. They are lucky I'm Canadian and we aren't as trigger happy as some of ya'll yanks can be... ?

Sideline thought though, I am currently in a dilemma as to whether if or not I will get winter tires for my jeep. I'm legally required to have them on the highway until March 30th, but if my jeep's current estimated arrival is sitting at mid February...... seems a bit pricy and excessive to spend $2500 for winter tires that I will barely have on for a month.....

Wow. Legally required? For me that would probably depend on how much highway driving I have to do and how big the fine is for running the wrong tires. If it's a month, I think I'd probably risk it.

I live in BC, Canada. We have snow, and lots of idiots who think "all season" tries are good enough in the winter. Hint: They are not*. I also live out past the middle of no-where, so if I want to do anything, even just get gas, I need to do some highway driving. Wanna go do some grocery shopping? That's a 45 minute drive into town on the highway.

When I was discussing this with my father, he suggested I keep my little Mazda which has brand new winter tires for an extra month and only take my jeep out on days when the roads are dry & clear. The look I gave him when I asked him I'm supposed to park my brand new jeep for a whole month and not drive it was probably quite entertaining I'm sure.

*There's a show called Highway Through Hell, and the pilot episode was about a section of highway in BC that's known for how treacherous the conditions on it can be in the winter. The fact that it was chosen as the pilot episode speaks volumes IMO. Anyways, you want to have properly dedicated winter tires. 4x4 or a MT with front wheel drive are highly recommended.

Finally got my new beauty today. I ordered it on 9/3 and delivered 1/21. It was a Long wait but so worth it now that I finally have it. Can’t wait to enjoy it on a nice long drive tomorrow.

Yeah. I'm guessing that first year of waiting probably takes the fight right out of them...
I just jumped on the bronco forum, one guy said he'd ordered his 717 days ago, ford is will cancel his order unless he removes several options, yikes. I guess 5-1/2 months isn't that bad.

Is this week gonna be MY week?

NOBODY KNOWS.

But I do know that my husband got the $1750 incentive offer from jeep in the mail on Saturday! ?

Lucky! I haven’t figured out how to get 1750. I have 1k from the builder on the website, but even when I get a new one it’s still 1k.

I tried SO damn hard to get the $1750 for myself, but to no avail.

The 2020 we have is in my husband's name so he gets jeep mail all the time and this time its actually beneficial to us.

The $1750 Offer doesn’t show up as a pop up on the Configurator. It is emailed / mailed to you after you sign up on the JEEP website for Jeep Brand Updates. (Go to Wrangler Page - Select Overview on top - scroll to bottom; select Research - open Sign Up For Updates). Clear Cookies first and verify correct Zip code is displayed on webpage. The offer showed up for me a couple weeks after signing up. Good Luck.

..... I suggest you keep telling yourself 6 months and be happy if it shows up a month early..... cause that has definitely happened to some people here.... and by people, I mean me! ??
