My dealer is looking into that. I'll update as soon as I have reply.
You might think I'm blowing hot air, but I feel pretty confident that you can drive right off the lot when it hits the dealership.
The vehicles will have the updated MT.

Roger, my understanding is the ones that just went through Production after 16 Feb, have the updated MT already. Notice in the "Descriptive Information" para: the suspect vehicles ended with production on February 16. So any vehicle with production after 16 Feb is good, which just started back up a few weeks ago.

Would kind of suck if they're going to sit in a lot. Fingers crossed Jeep Care is a little behind on the stop sale info but if they're not, at least we won't have to wait for shipment after the new software is deployed. 1/31 order, still in E. Hopefully mine moves to KZ today too. Interested to see what everyone's dealers are saying.

If mine gets shipped to my dealership but is under the stop sale I’m seeing if they’ll let me install the door sill guards before they expire

It makes sense that production vehicles after the 16 Feb date have to be updated first, not only because they are holding up 2023 orders, but because they need the MT solution for all the 2024s that are right behind.

Any guesses what the rebate (Southeast) will be when they FINALLY release them?

Also, why notify customers about a delivery date and not mention they can’t TAKE delivery yet.

Agreed. The recall notice was pretty clear on which MTs would be affected. If your MY23 MT was built after 2/16 - you’re good.

I had another thought about validating the MT builds. (some folks have already done this) Now that the vehicles are an actual vehicle (Built), (and maybe wait until a Window Sticker is generated) run your VIN through the NHTSA Re-call link, and see if anything comes up? It shouldn't. Try Jeep's also.
