I am not really worried. I have seen that the tracking entries are not always accurate in timeline. I checked 4 different trackers and they all have the update that it is built. I certainly did not expect this to happen so soon, but no complaints.
Could be much worse. built and not showing built because its on shipping hold in storage

Hello All - order just placed, will begin the (patient) waiting, dealer guestimate was 2-3 months but anticipating/hoping for April delivery. Question on the tracker, haven't seen after perusing 50+ pages on this thread, but what drives the 'CHECKS' tile? Initially thought it was how often I or someone else on the tracker looked at it, but I only added this week and already 71 checks:

It indicates how many times the Tracker is checking the JEEP network for updates on your build.

The tracker automatically checks the Jeep data periodically. I can't remember what the frequency is, but I think it's every 3-4 hours or something like that (6-8x a day).

If you refresh the page periodically through the day, you'll see when the next check is, and the next, and you'll be able to figure it out.

I was confirmed with vin 10/7, sched 11/22,production 12/11. Before going into producTien sales person said est del was 12/20. It now says 1/20. I’m just excited either way. Getting what I want. Sahara 4xe hydro blue, both safety, tow, steps, grab handles, mats .. I’ve waited 50 years to get a Jeep, it will be my first…in the golden years of m life. What fun awaits. I read a lot of these posts..not sure if I will go to much off road but one never knows with my grand daughters. Just writing this post is emotional..I can’t wait to see my jeep!!!!
Your posted story is very exciting! Super happy for you to get your fist JEEP. Most Wranglers see very little Off-Road duty. Mine will not either. Purely ordered it for its (reasonable) simplicity. My first and lasting impression was getting a 2hr ride in a retired military JEEP. No doors, no seatbelts - I was 8 years old; in 1977.

This is what I cut my teeth on. My first Army duty assignment was Commanders Driver. The M151A1 was my vehicle. Assigned to me I did all maintenance and no one else drove it. In my first 30 days I had to drive it from Ft Sill, OK to Ft. Hood, TX leading a convoy. Good Times!
Always loved that thing, hated losing it to HMMWV conversion.
I was always partial to jeeps after that. Got my first in 2017, a 2015 JK Sahara Tank Green, MT. I think it was to commemorate my time with the M151A1.
The photo is exactly like my first Jeep

I was 17 years old when the sales person told my dad the red 2 door wrangler was not for a girl. My dad was putting half the down payment at the time. I ended up with 1972 ford pinto, awful really. I got married and we traded it in for a 1976 Chevy Nova. Nice car. But over the years it just wasn’t the right time. I’m reliving my youth really, my sons say go for it. And I hope my dear husband is smiling down knowing I’m finally getting that jeep! Those military jeeps were fun! Thank you

That yellow one over there <- is going to be my daughter's first vehicle. She has wanted a yellow Jeep since she was about 6. She has been learning to drive in it and will hopefully get her license in a couple weeks.

Glad you're finally getting your Jeep. Better late than never.

Good for her!! She will fondly look back 50 years from now with a big smile?

This CJ2A pretty much resembles my memories. Top was off also, on a nice summer, late afternoon. Didn’t return until it was dark :)

Excellent! Passing along traditions - more important than ever. Our grand daughter learned to drive stick shift on my wife’s 2013 JKU.

Our family had JEEPS on and off over the years. (My dad had a dealership, so access to all types of vehicles was a normal occurrence.) Mom often got a Cherokee Chief or Wagoneer for winter, and they were sold off again in spring. Sometimes my dad sold her ride before the temp tags expired. Various CJ5’s and 7’s were around over the years as well. Around the time I was of driving age, my dad had a (now considered very rare) CJ8 with full hardtop. Burgundy with black top. In-line 6 with manual transmission. I was in love!!
Just like with you, I was told it isn’t safe enough for a young driver.
