Wow, the chip shortages are really killing delivery times. You'd have thought by now they [manufacturers] would have figured out a better system to acquire those components.

Seeing a lot of you waiting very long times. That is really hard to see. I hope none of you are needing it right away and are able to wait for your perfect jeep. But I also hope things ramp up at the plant so people can stop waiting.

?‍? 870 miles. I'm sure it'll take @ least 2 weeks.
That emoji was an exhale but came out looking like a smoker's cough lol
I feel you!! 861 miles for me! Mine shows shipped a day before yours so we may be driving ours off the lots at the same time! I’m feeling lucky!!

Ya it's been a pretty easy experience, the Jeep arrived this morning, but I can't get over there until tomorrow to pick it up. So today I've just been handling all the paperwork with my sales guy via text, so I'll be able to swing in, inspect/review/sign and get out.
Yep, quite honestly, we’ve both been very fortunate to not have the wait like others on here have had. Even if I get mine in December or January, I will definitely not complain. I know it could be so much worse. So happy you’ll be driving yours home tomorrow!! Congrats!!!

This is the most ridiculous purchasing experience of my life. I’m in the same boat as you.
I guess you never tried to order a Bronco, I have heard that some have waited well over a year, if not two years...

I waited about 6 months for an order of a different brand a while back, and more recently 1.5 year for a v60 polestar. The difference with jeep is that those brands set expectations of 6 months and “a little over a year” (during which covid hit for the v60 polestar) while jeep set expectations of “8-12 weeks”

I wasn’t unhappy with ordering from those other brands as a result - they were reasonably in line with estimates and communicative. Covid was obviously completely unexpected but they communicated well.

For jeep, I’m 30% longer than they estimated, and it’ll obviously be more since I’m not even building, let alone shipped. And yet, nobody can give me any updates on timing.

…….or not even taking any orders due to massive back log. (At least that was the case earlier in the year.)

Hi all. I ordered my first Jeep in early October which was a converted dealership stock order they did in July. I had just missed the Reign color cutoff.
All was going well and I had an expected date of 11/20/22 which has now passed and is TBD. The dealer showed me on his side that it was in I status before the change. He did say that Jeep was running about a week behind, so he isn’t that worried. Should I be worried?
No. Mine went to TBD while in I also. It will be fine. You do have a couple of mopar parts, which means your Jeep has to go the "body vendor" to install those. From what I can tell, and this is just a guess, Jeeps that get TBD while at E status are getting it because they are having trouble estimating the time it will take to complete the installs at the body vendor. Mine took a while there, but I had a ton of add ons.

I have a question.
when status updates occur, do they happen within a certain time period of the day or anytime? Just wondering so I can put my phone down. ?
10:30-11 is the big window. Lately it has been spilling into 11:15 some times. And then, there are the days where it happens at a random time, like 3 PM, instead. Those are few and far between but it can hppen. Probably an error on Jeep's side. There is almost always a nighttime update usually between 7-8 PM. Those updates tend to be Arrival Dates changing to TBD.

Or you could just join jeeptracker.com and get an email when it updates instead of constantly checking. The site checks regularly for you (about once an hour) for most of the day, but in the 10:30-11:15 window it checks all the jeeps (which takes about 4-5 minutes for about 700) and then waits a minute and does it again.
