Msrp and invoice, HB is the dealer hold back, FFP is friends and family pricing, EP is employee pricing.

The Jeep tracker updated today and states that my jeep has shipped. The only oddity is that it now lists the arrival date as TBD instead of 12/28/22 that it listed previously.

Would it be safe to assume that my Jeep has not received a rail car assignment yet and this has caused it to receive the TBD arrival date?

Also, my Jeep doesn't appear to have a window sticker available yet. Is that fairly normal considering how bad Jeep's customer facing data is?

TBD has been a bit of an oddity. A lot of Jeeps that have gone TBD at the shipped stage showed up the next day. But not all.

As for Window Sticker, I think I remember that happening to one other person.

Using the order guide from July that was valid through mid-September, and assuming FWP = Dealer invoice, 99% of FWP for my 392XR = $83,476. MSRP is $89.870. Savings of $6,394.

My dealer emailed me yesterday letting me know that my Jeep was just completed being built, passed final inspection, and was now awaiting shipping but it did not have a rail car assignment yet. I am extremely doubtful that it will show up tomorrow as it will need to be shipped via rail from the manufacturer to GA and the timeline is too short for that to occur. However, the arrival date changing from 12/28/22 to TBD appears to be a very odd occurrence in my case.


Also, my window sticker magically appeared right after my previous post.

In regards to Tread Lightly. To those who say that we do not, you are incorrect.

I did more digging. While it appears affiliate programs like TL do not specifically exclude the 392, a dealer has final say as to whether they honor the discount, and on which vehicles.

Thanks @Opus. I have e-mailed my dealership/salesperson with some very “direct” questions. I have tried to be patient with supply chain issues, etc but this getting ridiculous. I will report back what i hear.

Sorry, been traveling and just getting back to forum. In summary, they have pointed to 392+SOT+XR being the reason mine is taking longer than some others. Also got BOT response from Cara indicating they had opened a tracking case and referred me back to the Pizza Tracker. %#*&%@!!!!

I contacted my dealership/salesperson by e-mail and pushed for a better response than I had gotten previously. She responded with:

I wish I had a way to know when your Jeep will get a build date. The 392s are taking longer than other Wranglers in general and then on top of that you have 2 of the most popular, yet most time restricting options. The Extreme Recon Package and the Sky One Touch Top have both run into some supply chain challenges causing many builds with one or both of these options to be delayed.

We do not have any control over supply and or scheduling, the manufacturer is doing everything they can to ensure all the piece of your build are available to produce an excellent product

I contacted Jeep Chat and heard back from Cara (aka BOT) the next day with the following:

My name is Cara and I will be monitoring your vehicle order throughout the build process. I have opened this special tracking file under case number xxxxxxxxx to both help ensure your order is given prioritization through to delivery if necessary, as well as to provide you with available status updates along the way. She closed her e-mail with a link to the Pizza Tracker and guided me there for the most up to date info. Duh….

The 392 doesn't qualify for the Tread Lightly discount (or other promotional / affiliate discounts). It is specifically excluded. However, the dealer can opt to provide the discount amount if they want to, but this is normally done by sacrificing their hold back.

Granted, the Tread Lightly discount is supposed to be 1% off dealer invoice, correct??? I have no idea what my invoice is on my Jeep. I will ask.

End of the day - I think I got a good deal. MSRP increased by over $3k since I ordered. I got 8% off MSRP from my original number....thats like getting 12% off today's MSRP. I think I did OK. The only thing that really sucks is Biden's rate hikes!!! Interest rates are terrible compared to when I ordered.
