WTF Jeep, how can my order ship on the 10th then get updated today to say shipped on the 16th?

The tracker for me didn't show it was Shipped until the day it was Delivered. Which only makes sense if I live in Toledo... but I do not... My dealer had the more up-to-date info.

Their customer-facing data does suck, but blindly blaming the data for every little thing is a little misguided.

It could have been a number of things. They could have thought that your Jeep was going to ship on the 10th and there might not have been room on transport. Maybe yours was going to be the last to be loaded and they realized they couldn't fit it on transport. Etc.

Or the GM... But I'm guessing most people don't order directly through the dealer's GM like I did (or have his personal cell number) ?

Will do! Of course, I leave town tomorrow until Tuesday. And then Thianksgivng and I leave town again the next week. So I may try to grab it Thanksgiving weekend. I wish I could hop in my current Jeep and go get it now. Dealer is 3 hours away

The Jeep tracker updated today and states that my jeep has shipped. The only oddity is that it now lists the arrival date as TBD instead of 12/28/22 that it listed previously.

Would it be safe to assume that my Jeep has not received a rail car assignment yet and this has caused it to receive the TBD arrival date?

Mine has been in the built stage for 20 days , was scheduled for delivery for today, 11/17 but switch to TBD last night....Come on...why cant I just pick it up LOL.
