Congrats @SoCalDriver on getting your Jeep / I hate you!

While I believe this is probably true, I really hope it's not. Sold (customer) orders really should be prioritized on a first in, first out basis, assuming all parts are available, irrespective of dealer sales volume. Given how easy it is to shop for a vehicle nationwide these days, prioritizing sold orders based on allocations given from sales volume further helps keep high volume dealers at an advantage (this isn't meant in solely a monetary sense, but this would "keep the rich rich," if you will) over dealers in less populous / rural areas, especially when the ability for high volume dealers to move more on price is also considered. It certainly helps large nationwide chains (the AutoNations of the world) as well as large local, independently-owned dealer chains (the Larry H. Millers and Hendricks of the world), while putting smaller local, independently-owned dealers at a disadvantage. Sometimes these one-off local, independently-owned dealerships are some of the best when it comes to the purchasing and service experiences.
Sold orders are prioritized, no matter which dealership submits them. They actually help smaller dealers to expand their allocation. (Allocations are for stock orders.) 100% agree with you about superior sales experience at family owned dealerships.

I just got the notification that my Jeep has moved into production, which is a few days earlier than the dealer's estimate of 11/16/22. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will move through without any delays and hopefully I will receive I earlier than the estimated 12/28/22 delivery date.

I know this has been discussed before but I couldn’t find anything with my searches but I woke up to a status change. Moved from Built to Shipped after 11 days. But now my Estimated Delivery now shows TBD. Anyone have an experience with this happening?

It was a good day today!
Ordered 9/9
Delivered at dealer 11/10
The Jeep looks and drives fantastic! I’m so happy with my purchase!
It’s the V6 and fully loaded with every option package, and I still somehow got it in two months. I was told that the larger dealers with high volume sales get more orders allocated..that may have helped. I ordered from Rob at Tuttle-Click in Irvine and it was a great experience. There we’re no surprises and even though the price went up about 2K, I had price protection! The deal made saved me over 11% off MSRP!
I also met fellow forum member @JeepGawin there who picked up his order at the same time!
Wishing all of you waiting the best to get your Jeeps ASAP!

It seems to mean To Be Delivered and you are about to get your Jeep :) Mine went TBD the day I was picking it up, I am sure this varies given what we have seen from the data Jeep gives to us on the tracker.

Im not making any promises but I have seen this many times in the forum. It’s usually when it’s about to hit the lot

Ours went TBD as soon as it shipped...has to travel to Florida so doubt it's about to hit the lot.

Does anyone have any recent data on how close jeep has been hitting their estimated ship date? ?
Not that I’m excited or anything ?
Hit D1 only yesterday but my dealer told me estimated ship date is only 3 weeks out.

Not close. And it will change on you often then move to TBD some times and just show up.

Dealer's estimated ship date = date you go into production

unless you're like me and a few other dozen people who got scheduled and the week production was supposed to start, they regress you so you're back to unscheduled where you have sat for weeks now...waiting and waiting and waiting some more with no production date in sight.
