Thank you! This is more info than I have been able to get anywhere else. I appreciate it!If the assembly plant can’t fulfill an order in a certain time frame due to supplies, the dealer is informed of the reason and given an option to change the order to move it along. Otherwise it will go to stand by until lacking parts are available again.
I would start to communicate with the appropriate department at the dealership (not the sales staff). They should be able to show you communications with FCA. You may want them to verify that there are zero aspects of your order holding up the scheduling/build process; especially if they can’t show you recent communications.
Your personal visits will have better success getting answers than any ‘case manager’ over the web.
