Do you mind sharing where you got that rate and how did you lock it? The credit union I'm dealing with (DCU) will keep an application for 45 days but after that I have to do a new one. But they will take the rate of the previous month which if have the jeep now will be 4.5%. My jeep won't be here till December ?
Trackers don’t show JB. They go from I to KZ. Jeep doesn’t share the other statuses. Which is part of the problem.
My dealer is saying that I have been moved to JB - Vendor for add ons' status shortly after I went into production even though my tracker hasn't updated? My question is what's the hold up?
Twice a year, once in the spring and then before fall I get an email with a pre-approved loan. It doesn't matter if I use it or not. It does not show up on my credit report unless I use the loan. It is good for three months. August, September and October in this case. I was hoping to get the Jeep in time to use the original pre-approval. I called them on Oct28th and told them I wasn't going to get the Jeep before the expiration date. They said they would just give me a ONE TIME 45 day extension. So I have until Dec 15th to take delivery of the Jeep. I have been a member of Eglin Federal Credit Union in Fort Walton Beach Florida since 1993. I don't currently live in Florida, but I opened the account when I was stationed there. They have pretty specific membership requirements, so unless you are in the area or have family in the area, it is not easy to become a member. But their rates are great on just about everything. Even today their rates are still really good. Thats why I have kept the account there for so long...
I just got 3% at fairwinds this week, but that was for 36 months at 800+ credit. I was surprised I could still find that low.

It says “D1 - Gateline: plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned” on the paperwork my dealer sent me a picture of… not sure?

D1 on 8/23 for me too. Like you I've had two ship dates, but no progress. Dealership won't give me updates unless I call and even then they say they'll call some regional guy, but then I don't hear back. How often is too often to check in? Every two weeks? We're like mushrooms: they keep us in the dark and feed us shit (information).
