It is delightful! A fantastic fall / winter months scotch!

I was in a bar in Chicago for a bachelor party about 6 or 7 years ago and the bar had The Macallan 25 up on the shelf. I asked "how much," expecting to hear something between $90 and $120 a glass. The young bartender said "um, I don't really know, no one really orders that, let me look in the computer," then comes back and says "I can only find Macallan 18 in the computer, and it's $50 a glass, so let's say $60 a glass because it's older?"

I said "Sure! I'll take 3!"

it was a birthday gift and a friend was kind enough to share it. Liquid sunhine butter...

You're a smart man on that three We estimated we were drinking over $300 a pour.

I’m a bourbon girl myself and my husband with a ZZtop beard likes fruity “girly” drinks. Rarely does a restaurant or bar give the right drink to me.

That’s funny. My gal’s a bourbon/whiskey gal too. Usually Old Fashioneds, but she’s been known to pour one over the old whisky balls I keep in the freezer for her. And, if she’s feeling really wild and crazy, the occasional up. Definitely sexy. I usually get beer, so that’s easy for a server to sort.

WOAH! You ordered before me and I'm in "E Status" 36 days so far --- you'll probably be the one that it just shows up at the dealer in a week or two.

LOL In my military days we often shared and tried other stuff and one of guys said I had to get some Lagavulin - "you'll love it, he said" so I tracked down a bottle and was all set to enjoy this top-tier blessing from the scotch gods...I promptly handed him the bottle the following day and told him to enjoy it Yeah, that stuff is like drinking a fish filter that been running for months.

Gotta disagree on the Lagavulin. Definitely an acquired taste. But that 16 goes down awfully smooth. Also been known to "slum it" with the occasional Laphroaig 10-year.

I was reading through the threads, looked like a bit of a cluster with the tracking and such. Won’t be mad if it comes earlier, but who knows.

Here is the one on my Cherokee. Nothing special really. It is nicer than the plastic one on the base Wrangler.

It's cool. I got plenty of Glenmorangie and Macallan as well as some decent whiskeys. I even have a 30-year old port that my Portuguese friend got me hiding somewhere in the cabinet.
