Is that your Hydro Blue Jeep in E status?
It is indeed! After 74 days at C/D, I went to D1 and then from D1 to E in 3 days!

So am I able to view all the jeeps on order in Virginia? Seems like I only see what Farrish has or am I using the data like "black" as the overall count of jeeps since they all have that interior color? I know Farrish just received six jeeps in the past three days but the tracker doesn't reflect that data for what I can see.

Yes. It should have a VA line item below your dealer’s name. As for the received Jeeps, Jeep is not great at updating their own data. There are plenty of people on here that have received their Jeeps and their tracker was still in some status other than delivered. Even some getting emails from Jeep saying their Jeep has been delivered long after they picked it up. It’s unfortunate, but there’s not much that can be done unless Jeep hires me. ?

Yep, I'm in the IT field myself, 20 years in application support and development and now I'm a data storage guy post-military. I'm blown away that Jeep thinks these trackers are any good. I know they have to track every part that is inside that factory to ensure a steady flow of builds yet I have had no update for 23 days? WTH Jeep?

Yup. And I don’t think it’s just an IT problem. That’s part of it. The other part is what they decide to share. Dealers have so much more data than we do. But I’m guessing they may not even see the whole picture.

The fact that some have ship dates, others do not, etc. is nuts. I can't imagine they control those individual updates. I have a released from the yard on 23 Sep to a truck and then nothing. Makes no sense. The dealership keeps saying they have no additional information and when I contacted Jeep Cares they referred me to a specialist that just repeated the tracker status in a long paragraph. Literally nothing new, no insight, etc. I know I'll be happy when it arrives but this experience has proven to be a huge disappointment. I'll just drop the extra cash next time and avoid this debacle. Seriously, if a company can't take order tracking seriously, don't offer it.

??You've got to go to the Lonesome Valley. ?
90 days, nothing. Good to see everyone's orders pushing on. But when ya start to grimace when you don't update for 2-3 weeks, remember that it could be worse. Perspective is everything.

True. And suffering is relative. Hang in there.

Depends on where the delay is... I'm waiting on another order of a truck with no update for 60 days and it's because it wouldn't even go into production until November at the earliest...so I get it, I don't even look for an update.

When your vehicle is finally built I think the clock really becomes an issue. In my situation, there's no shipping data and the estimated arrival date has moved from 26 September to 5 October, to 10 October, and then 20 October with several TBDs in between.

This is inventory management and they owe customers at least a current status even if it's just sitting in another holding area. Compound that with a lot of inventory arriving at that dealership and others in the area built after mine and it starts to get unsettling. Perspective is everything.

Yeah. It’s a mess. But I didn’t order for the tracking experience. I ordered because I wanted exactly the Jeep I wanted. I can never find my combo just about anywhere. And because I was able to get 6% under Invoice when dealers were charging $10k over MSRP. That’s at least $18K in savings.

That said, Jeep threw up a half assed tracker. I wish they would have understood the importance of it and taken it seriously. They missed a huge opportunity. Many of the people ordering are huge Jeep fans. This is their loyal following and they had a chance to really pull them in closer, and pull in more followers. Instead, having a weak system like this can have the opposite effect. At a bare minimum they should’ve have made sure the data updated consistently, correctly and on time.

This is my second order. The last experience was better because there was no crappy tracker, and the dealer info was openly available. So the tracker I built then showed a lot more info and updated often. And they shut that down.

I love that color. I ordered a Willys Sport 2 door in that color. I didn’t even consider another color

today is 79 days with no updates on progress. ? 392 XRecon Sarge Green appears to be stuck in C. VON since July 27th.
