two weeks for a PDI? I'd do it myself

The fact they're taking in lots of orders should have nothing to do with whether or not you put down a deposit. Putting down a deposit isn't taxing on them; it ensures that the vehicle is spoken for. Otherwise, they could sell the vehicle out from under you at a higher price to someone else. It's possible, as the model year had progressed, dealerships are doing things differently....Thanks! I asked specifically about the price lock and they said no. The discount off the invoice price will be based on the invoice price at time of delivery. I know some dealers price lock but this one wouldnāt. I offered to place a deposit but they said they donāt take deposits due to the volume of orders they take. So, weāll see what happens.
Guess a week isnāt an edge case. WTH are they doing for 2 weeks?Granger is at a two week PDI right now
This is the Ford dealer... I know they were getting 20-40 super duties a month... Not sure about f150s so more of a backlog than anything elseGuess a week isnāt an edge case. WTH are they doing for 2 weeks?
So Jeep is less than 2 weeks at Granger? Hoping mine arrives middle of next month and they originally said about one week. This is the Ford dealer... I know they were getting 20-40 super duties a month... Not sure about f150s so more of a backlog than anything else
Not sure about jeep/dodge dealer... I ordered local because they matched price close enough for me not to drive up there. So Jeep is less than 2 weeks at Granger? Hoping mine arrives middle of next month and they originally said about one week.

But I would get a 2nd opinion. This sounds sketchy.

Is that your Hydro Blue Jeep in E status? On jeeptracker.com you can see the aggregate data for all the Jeeps at your dealer that have registered on the site. Here's an example. This is from my Jeep. It takes my dealer, my color,, my state, my interior color (BLACK), my model, my trim and my options, each individually and looks for all Jeeps registered on the site that have that one line item and then displays a count of the current statuses (plus other data if you toggle the report using the links at the top).
So there are 3 Jeeps from my dealer and 26 from dealers in Maryland. The data is only for 2023 Wranglers (and Wrangler 4xes). There are a handdful of Gladiators, Grand Cherokees and 2022s registered, but I don't count them in the data.

Mine was built last Tuesday and I had my window sticker on FridayHow soon after your jeep is built to you get the window sticker?
I did get a POC from them the same day that includes a VON, Status of āBAā, my name/address, scheduling priority, build priority, etc. My VIN is supposed to be provided on Friday. So, it seems legit to me.This
and also the fact they don't offer price protection leads me to believe they are not putting the order in under your name as a sold order
if I'm placing an order I want my name to show up on the window sticker![]()
I went back to D1 after I regressed to D. Trackers keep you at D1 even after regress so the only way to know youāre back at D1 for real is to ask dealer.Does anyone know what I should watch for if I regressed to D status? Will I just go into ābuildā someday or will I go back into D1 someday?
