My build went up by $700 from Late July to delivery last month. Dealer still honored original price.
I haven't discussed it with them yet. This was something I saw. It did surprise me. Hopefully me dealer will honor the quote.

Well, I made it all day without checking any trackers thanks to college football. I’m assuming no email means no changes, but I might check here in a bit. BTW, if Georgia loses to Mizzou, they should have to sit out playing in the SEC next year cause that would be pretty sorry.

Man this sounds like hell. And here I'm feeling impatient because it took several days for the dealer to get confirmation the order was accepted (this past Friday).

We're still waiting on a VON for said order, which makes me wonder how hectic things are there.
:( :(

i would hope those people have super special custom orders that I would be jealous of seeing roll down the road.
I can't speak for others. My build is down in my signature. Nothing elite.

I'm pretty certain it takes them a while to individually crack open and drain the juice from a crate of highlighters to get your particular paint job (or maybe they're coloring it in by hand?) ;)

I order a 2023 Willys Sport 2 door order was confirmed on 24 Aug. Went to scheduled status on 23 Sep. my dealer rep text me on Tuesday of this week with an estimated ship date of 19 Oct. Seems like there some steps that are missing like production and built before the ship date. Is this normal or can some one explain. Thanks in advance.

My dealer also had an estimated arrival date shortly after I was scheduled, but before it actually went into production. Iirc, the official Jeep tracker didn't provide an ETA until it entered production, but all along the dealer was right on, while the tracker bounced around and was still several weeks off.

Thanks for replying, so it would appear that my build could be farther along than just scheduled if I’m understanding you correctly.

Very welcome! And yes, that's a possibility, but not necessarily the case just yet.

For mine, right after it was scheduled, the dealer said it was expected at the 'end of September' and eventually gave me a more precise 'ship date' (which was in that same time frame). The day the tracker showed it entered into production, it gave an ETA that was several weeks later than his estimates. It then stayed in the build phase for over a week and by the time it showed 'built', he let me know it already left the factory. The tracker ETA then moved closer a couple weeks, but was still showing a delivery weeks away when he was expecting delivery in a matter of days, which was ultimately correct (the tracker skipped 'shipped' completely, lol).

Was just saying the dealers seem to have more accurate projections than what we're given, and that once you enter the 'in production' phase, the tracker is basically useless. Up until then, the milestones seem to pop up about the same time as the dealer finds out.

If you put down a deposit on the order AND your dealer submitted the order, you have a VON. Some larger dealers submit bulk orders all at once. Doing this delays the customers who put their orders in first. Contact your dealer tomorrow and press the issue. If they are indeed holding back until they have a large # to order, you could held back weeks and weeks.

Thanks for the further clarification.
