The 392 sales, despite its price tag, has fared very well.

I don’t think larger volume dealers have anything to do with it, I’m approaching day 100 since ordered and still not scheduled and I ordered from Mark Dodge.. When I ordered my 2018 JLUR on July 17th of 18, I received it on August 18th. No rhyme or reason for any of it.

This is exactly what I was told from Renee at Gupton, obviously a volume dealer...

"Some of the 2022's were arriving in 6-8 weeks, and some were taking roughly 12-18 weeks. We did have maybe 25-30 out of hundreds that took 6 months. Of course they never tell us why, but they all got built and delivered. I would say average delivery time for 2022's was 2-3 months."

Well, when you consider they sell 200k Wranglers per year, 392 sales are very small. The 392's days are numbered. Really glad I ordered a 392xr when I did.

Makes me think they are saving materials for the 20th anniversary edition or something, or just had more orders than expected, but they are still continuing to do XR orders for other vehicles so idk, but could also be gearing up to out 37s on since Ford is trumping them in that area for a stock vehicle. Who knows.

When I ordered from Koons they gave me the 12-18 week number, but that was early July, about six weeks before production even began. I don’t think the dealers know any better than we do, but their guesses are somewhat more “educated” based on their volume of experience.

Sept 21st dealer calls and says moved to D1 and SUPPOSED to be built this week.... let's hope

there most definitely are reasons behind what they are doing... we just don't know them.

New feature added to the status data on your jeep page at jeeptracker.com. Click on Recent Date, and it will show you the most recent date that a Jeep in the tracker that has the specific line item (color, option etc) moved to the status.

Just going off what I said yesterday when someone asked about why people complain when in D1 and then asked about if the dates are changing. I went from and est build of 8/30, to 9/9, to 9/21, and now today my dealer said it changed to 9/27. Next week it will probably be 10/1, and will likely continue to change.
