Geez that was fast!!!!This is probably a stupid question but does anyone know if there is a way to track the vehicle once its shipped from the plant? My dealer told me that my Jeep would be on a train from Toledo to NYC, and then trucked from NYC to my dealer in Massachusetts.
Here is my ordering timeline:
Ordered & Confirmed - August 6
Scheduled August 16
In Production - September 7
Built - September 9
Shipped - September 9
Wait - they come to Acton? That's where I live! But the dealer I ordered from is in Iowa. :-(I don't know the answer to your question. Maybe the dealer can see that? But I was just curious if you are in western Mass? I'm used to our Jeep's coming via train into Acton, but I'm in eastern Mass.
I’ve been D1 about as long and the “ship” date my dealer has is 9/30. 2 dr Willys 3.6 MTJust another slow-moving (albeit moving) 2-door manual transmission order, waiting patiently. No word on a "production date" from the dealership, although I am D1 for 22 days. I do reach out and check in with them. The situation is, unfortunately, what it is. Looking forward to that next email update from Jeep or text from the dealer.
Ordered 7/22
D1 8/23

I communicated with Daniel last week, but it was more a result of me reaching out to him because I needed to get travel squared away. He told me the day I needed works and asked for my Tread Lightly information. Fast forward to this week. I received the canned e-mail Renee on Tuesday ... so now wondering/hoping my requested date and information is on the books because I have a flight and hotel booked.Have you heard from them yet? I haven’t… but I know Renee & Daniel don’t work on Wednesdays so I’m not expecting anything today.
Renee did email me on Thursday (in response to an email I sent) and said that I’d get a welcome email AFTER it arrived and passed PDI.

Your dealer probably has it by now, try reaching out to them. It will not show on the tracker until it's scheduled and you move to D1 status. Is it normal to not have a vin after a month?

I did not get my VIN until it was 5 weeks past confirmed. Sorry, but it certainly seems to be random as some folks get it within days....Is it normal to not have a vin after a month?

Mine was scheduled on 8/23 also. Mine is a 4 door AT though. Hopefully we will be moving down the line very soon. My dealer shows build date of 9/23. Your dealer will have a VIN before the tracker shows it. The VIN is assigned at D status, the Tracker jumps from C to D1 status. I asked my dealer weekly about my VIN until he sent it to me when my Jeep went to D. I was excited, only to be sitting at D for more than 5 weeks. Is it normal to not have a vin after a month?
