I think so I have been sitting in C since Aug 18 but my dealership saysIhave a VIN (he gave it to me) and also in D1.. He said this morning that it should be scheduled for build soon.. I think the trackers just aren't updating correctly.. So best bet is just keep checking with the dealer I think
As I understand it, telling you it should be scheduled soon is equivalent to D, not D1. They don't have the info we think they do. When you're scheduled, you're D1. Sounds like your dealer is jingling keys in your face.

would like to inform everyone that the railroads are on the verge of striking also a stellantis transmission factory was shutdown due to strikes as well.....expect potential long delays in your orders. Especially if the railroads strike.
here is the current situtation.
Zerohedge has been tracking this for close to a month.

this concerns me as the Biden adminstration is saying they do not think they can pull this off by Friday.

With 2 mental midgets like Sec of Labor Walsh and Transportation Sec Buttigieg in charge, I can see why. Was feeling like Indiana Jones running ahead of the rolling giant stone, but now I tripped. Dang...

As I said yesterday, I think there will be real pressure on the RR to go along with the union demands as the administration needs to get energy to Europe for the upcoming winter, and cannot afford to flame out the economy any faster than it is currently collapsing, else the market will tank like it is 1929.

UAW strike is over. They'll have a RR compromise before Friday@ midnight. Mark my words.

Update: My dealer just told me that my Jeep is off the rail and on a truck on it's way to the dealership and should be there by 11:30am tomorrow morning latest.

For more color, a different sales person at the dealership told me yesterday that it was due in 9/29-10/3. The tracker doesn't show as shipped yet. Just Built.

Your rail car was going to Lawrenceville, GA, correct? If so, I'm hoping my Jeep was on the rail car with yours.

And that's where it gets a bit odd for those of us still waiting for D1 and a build date. I've had a VIN from the dealer since 8/3 but all trackers still list me as "C". So, am I in D with just a VIN from the dealer? If so, how is Jeep committed to building the order when their own systems still read "C" and the VIN hasn't populated in their trackers after more than a month?

Is this something the dealer is privy to that we aren't?
the dealership info trumps the online tracker. ALL of the various trackers written by individuals are getting the same data that feeds Jeep's own pizza tracker. it's literally the same data, just different front ends.

the VIN will populate in the pizza tracker when they schedule your build for production (D1 status). your dealer will have that waaaay before it's scheduled.

It shows “C” on my tracker as well with no VIN # but my sales guy sent me a screenshot of my order from his system and it showed “D” status with “Scheduled - firm schedule serial number is assigned status date (2022-8-14)”

Not sure if you did as well but I ordered a Sahara Altitude (on 6/16) & i heard that I am still at confirmed because Sahara Altitudes are considered “late availability” so I prob won’t see any movement for some time.

Yes, mine went to Lawrenceville. Mike told me it was dropped at the rail yard in Toledo on the 5th. So 8 days from there to GA. Fingers crossed yours is with mine. Mike is on vacation this week, but Paul was able to look it up for me. I'll be flying up next Friday.

I truly believe that having a tracker is worse than not having one. If they're going to provide a tracker, it would be nice if it was updated in a timely manner. I don't "need" my new Jeep... but if you're providing a service, it should be a working one. I don't want to have to call my dealer ever.
Yes, and it should accurately report the same information that the dealer has access to so that there is no need to bother them about your order.
