looks like tracker is totally unreliable. Asked salesman to check today since its been saying built for last 17 days and just shows TBD on shipped/delivered.. altought ETA changed to 09/21 few days ago he confirmed vehicle shipped and is on train. As of yesterday in Wyoming, heading to Cali.. he said train will unload at Mira Loma, CA where they will get on car transporters to their respected dealers.. so lets hope its here in a week or less ;) would be nice if its before the Fed reserve meeting on Sep 20-21 as i have a feeling rates may suffer even more..

I honestly don't care enough to ask. Just trying to help put things into perspective. Not trying to be rude, but this thread clearly shows many people ordering obviously were not emotionally equipped to handle the ordering process in our world of entitlement. Glad I can finally disconnect from this particular thread.
Your order was just delivered to my house by mistake.

Out of curiosity and I apologize if you already posted this somewhere. what date was your dealer giving you as the estimated build date/ship date? Was this earlier than expected to move to build?

Hey something different happened on the Jeep Tracker (http://www.jeeptracker.com/) today. Previously it showed under "Current status C (8/10/23) and D1 (8/23) and only C (8/10) as the previous status. Now it shows D1 as the previous status. It doesn't show it in Production yet under Current status, or a current date for D1 under Previous status. Anybody else seeing the same thing??? See below...

Wow. This is why I use humor. People can bitch if they want to, that doesn't mean we have to listen. Swipe right on by.
Many of us are frustrated, particularly if you've seen ZERO movement. That's what this forum is for. This isn't a high school reunion where everyone pretends that everything in their life rocks.
That said, everyone take a drink/puff and chill.
Your order was just delivered to my house by mistake.

I like it! The meme that is ... won't be putting that on my Jeep! ?

For the record tho ... I wasn't getting testy with that comment. I pictured it all differently at the time than it is coming across. Had just tried to talk someone else off their ledge, but someone didn't like the answer. Have been reading this thread since day one (all 315 pages) and many of the 2022 thread before that. Comments are steadily sounding more and more impatient by the day. So many are driving themselves crazy by reading this thread and watching the tracker constantly ... me included at times. And ... why I'm glad to finally be free of it. Now I'm going to drive myself crazy with upgrades. ?

Is this too good to be true? I order on Aug 22nd, the dealer said 12 weeks and then later said 16. Now they are saying on assembly line and done Sep 26th.

The tracker just says scheduled. When I poked I go this reply:

"it is an estimate from the factory of when the build will be complete. It could be sooner and it could take a little longer, it is usually pretty spot on. I will keep an eye on it and keep you posted, if you have questions sooner just send me an email"

Can't be true right? 4xe Sahara.
I've looked through them. The year of the jeeps on that spreadsheet say 2022 even though the thread says 2023. I've sent out a question about it. It might just be a typo.

Re: your other post...I'm guessing that you can get the invoice number once you've built and ordered? I think I'm able to order without any deposits. How can the agent do this and not loose money? I was told by the credit union I'm not obligated, if I don't like the color etc.. Would the agent then just put it out on a lot?

Also, you meant VIN number not VON...right?..(wouldn't know what a VON was!)

Thanks!

VON is the order number

It was 6 days early from my est build/ship when I first got scheduled, the date I had on my POC was 9/14

We are after all only 3 or 4 weeks into 2023 production?? Patience isn’t easy, I understand, especially these days. But it’s not been that long since production started.[/QUOTE]

I ordered in July and was told 4 months... so I was given the time frame up front and know that it might be November before I see it. Maybe some weren't told about the time frames? I almost think having the tracker is worse than having nothing and just knowing you need to wait for the dealer to call.
You know my dealer just told me… I have been hounding them they finally responded and said, the reigns are being built quicker than the other ones and I could have it but the end of the month…

do we believe him?! I do not ? but let see shall we.

I did my first factory order in 1997. Before trackers and the internet. The dealer told me he'd call me when it came in and that's what happened. Order it and forget about it. It's much easier than obsessing, calling, and refreshing all day long. It will get there when it gets there.

Stellantis sells almost 2M vehicles in the US per year, updating one person about the status of their order is pretty far down on their list of things to do.

Curious that the "changes" box shows the last change was today.

Try inputting your info into JeepOnOrder and see what it says. It seems to be pulling info quicker for me than JeepTracker
