Anyone else sitting in “in production” on pizza tracker for close to 2 weeks? Dealer updated us on 8/22 saying it’s in I status pending final inspection. Same update this week as well.
Wondering if there is some shipping/delivery backlog, so your Jeep is just sitting and waiting for the final inspection. Not the alternative that something was wrong during the inspection. That would be my guess.

My tracker has said Vehicle Built since 8/23 with no further changes.
I'm literally losing sleep over this. Every night I have some sort of dream chasing down this jeep and I just can't find it. I know it's been a short wait since they started production. I'm not consciously thinking about it much, but goodness my subconscious must be an angsty one.
I'm waking up more exhausted than when I go to bed ?

I hope that’s the case! I’m just fearful something went wrong in final inspection.

I’ll let the other forum members chime in, but yea, curious why it didn’t move to a KZ status? Hopefully you’ll be one of those people that soon gets a call that your Jeep is here despite the pizza tracker never updating.

I switched from Toyota. If you’re coming from a 4Runner you’re in for a real treat. The 4Runner is a great vehicle, but it drives like shit. Its incredibly slow, the transmission is garbage, and it handles like a school bus. The JLU handles much better, moves when you need it to, and shifts perfectly with the 8 speed auto.
That’s great to hear. We’ve enjoyed our 4R, but it does have its limitations.

I haven’t told any of my Toyota friends I’ve gone over to Jeep, so that will be interesting ?

Yah i am in the same boat. He said dont be alarmed and there are additional quality inspections on random builds because its a new model year.

Does anyone know if the 2022 parts will fit on the 2023... I have been waiting to buy parts in fear of a slight change in builds. This is my first Jeep so I getting a bit ?. I want to grab up some desert does it seat jackers for the front and rear, oooh and front and rear bumpers. I am afraid that I am getting a bit ahead of myself...
i think you'll be fine. I already have seat jackers, armorlite, slipstream, and a bunch of other stuff waiting in my garage for my 2023.

I had the same issue with my 21 wrangler. It sat in inspection for almost 7 weeks.

When your jeep sits in inspection for more than a day it means they discovered an issue that needs to be resolved. It could be pretty much anything from a scratch, broken bolt, malfunctioning part, ect... unfortunately you will never know what the issue was or how long it will take to fix it. Could be a couple days or like in my case 2 months.

The good news is at least the issue was found out at the factory, not by yourself or the dealer, I would rather jeep finds and addresses any issues not the dealer.

Addition quality inspections = issue found and needs to be fixed. Mine took 7 weeks for the "additional quality inspections" in June of 2021.

Makes sense, although i am seeing folks in production for 10-15 days and then getting it shipped
