This is depressing! Order confirmed 06.15 and scheduled 08.16 then nothing. Then there are orders placed in August already built and shipped! Ughhhh

I wonder if the SkyTop is slowing up your build? This happened with the Ford f150’s; folks who opted for for the MacGuffin Package (tm) had to wait forever because the required chips weren’t available.

Probably not. Looked at some '22 Wagoneers on CA dealers' lots and same on US lots, and the flag is missing on Canadian models.

Wait, so there’s a charge for that tiny little flag thing? That’s f*cking hilarious.
It's not a separate upcharge/option, but that little 1" sticker will set you back up to $4,000 versus an otherwise identical 2022 model.

Heres my info:
Order confirmed on 7/9. Order number is 55985670.
None of the trackers show anything further but the dealer has provided the VIN. No idea when to expect a build date or a delivery date.

I’m the day before you and in the same boat.
It’s frustrating to see people who ordered in August being scheduled while we just sit. I’m sure there’s a somewhat valid reason for it but it still sucks

I’ve been in Order Confirmed since 8/3 for a 7/27 order. No vin. Nothing…

Is this normal or should I be worried? I thought a VIN would at least exist sooner.

My dealer is unresponsive (and I haven’t been one to hound them). The GM had placed the order itself since I had submitted the request on their sites’ email form - so he entered it and priced it and had others collect the deposit. Super easy sale for them, but I’m worried maybe the issue is that I don’t really have a salesperson owning follow-up as a result. I’ve tried connecting with the folks he handed me off to after ordering but they don’t respond.
You should email the person that placed the order, or call of course, and ask for the POC (Priced Order Confirmation) and the VIN. FYI, the VIN and the VON will be on the POC.

(Honestly, I would probably call their "front desk" and ask to speak with the person who places the online/internet orders. The receptionist will probably know. If you call and ask to talk to a salesman, they will probably have no idea what you are talking about and will try to get you to come in, etc.).

I had my VIN a week or so after I placed the order the VON was like a day or two, it might have been even sooner. That being said it took forever for the VIN to show up on the Jeep tracker website. I haven't had any movement since it was Scheduled, but there it is.

If you don't get your VON and POC, then there is a high chance it was never ordered, especially since you "ordered" it back in early August.

I ordered through Gupton after reading everything on this site, they are used to these kinds of transactions. I email Daniel about every two weeks or so, just to see if there are any updates. I fear that some folks ordered through their local dealer and those dealers just aren't used to this "internet" thing.

Many years ago I was shopping for a truck and it was weird as the online sales reps were separate from the in-person reps and when I would call or drop by, the online folks told me to, basically, not tell the in-person guys that I had a deal or that I was even talking with the online reps. Obviously, at that time there must have been some kind of competition, but I thought it was weird. I say all of that to highlight that when you do things over the phone or email, there is a high chance that when you call to find out information, you might not get anywhere because of that separation of their sales teams.

Did you choose many options when you ordered? The impression I got when ordering was that if I got a basic vehicle, with no options, I could get one delivered in half the time.

I got a sport with the 23K willys package. No power windows, manual transmission, no hard top, no power locks, no led's, no upgraded audio or technology package. About as basic as it gets.

In theory, yours could get built faster, because they don't need to wait for part availability from many (if any) vendors in Toledo. Again, that's in theory.
