Mine went to production on 8/27 with estimated delivery on 10/6(On tracker and still sitting in the same status). When I checked with my dealer/sales person she said it is in trim and shipped. But she told me this status changes a million of times so not to take this concrete schedule.

Thanks! Not sure what I was expecting from a 1" decal, but that's a bit more underwhelming than I had anticipated.

Thought the idea was to keep the same look as current Jeep models using the flag, but that looks nothing at all like this..

You should be fine. If it were the other way around and you had just taken out a car loan and looking for a mortgage that could be different. Generally auto loans are much easier and a lot more lax than mortgages.
I do mortgages for a living. Make sure your loan officer accounts for the proposed payment. You really shouldn't do anything until after you close on the house honestly.

This is a driver side view from a different jeep.

I agree it is underwhelming.

Wait, so there’s a charge for that tiny little flag thing? That’s f*cking hilarious.
Do they put that decal on Canadian orders? ?

This is depressing! Order confirmed 06.15 and scheduled 08.16 then nothing. Then there are orders placed in August already built and shipped! Ughhhh

This is absolutely correct. Mortgage pre-approval takes priority as it calculates DTI (Debt to Income) ratios. That is far more important that having your Jeep 1st. This really only comes into play if your mortgage approval DTI is close. If you make plenty of money and the payment won't impact your approval, then it's a non-issue. But if you are close.....pursue the house first, then Jeep after you purchase the house. Talk to your loan officer ahead of time and be honest - because they will pull your credit right before you purchase your house to confirm the DTI"s aren't out of whack.

Saved me the trouble. I do mortgage-backed securities for a living and was about to pitch in with the same advice. I would only add that you need to know the max DTI of the product you're looking at in order to make the calculation described. That will depend, in part, on the funding source your mortgage bank is using and the type of loan. Generally max is 43%, unless you are looking at a non-Qualified Mortgage loan (essentially, one that is not eligible for sale to Fannie or Freddie, along with certain other differences). which will be costlier. Maybe a little too arcane for the average consumer, but the lesson is to simply ask what the maximum DTI is for the mortgage product you want and ask HOW it's calculated. In other words, "what's included as 'income' and what qualifies as 'debt'".
