I ordered a Sahara Altitude. The trim was taken off the order form but Jeep says they will produce it for 2023.
What do you mean when you say the Trim was taken off ? I am curious because I ordered the high altitude.

High Altitude was not. Look at the 2023 build vs 2022 build the Sport Altitude and Sahara Altitude are missing.

Got my email that went into production. Here’s my details to help those tracking.
2023 Sahara 4 door Hydro Blue
Ordered - 6/25
Scheduled- 7/6
Estimated ship date from dealer was 8/18 then slipped to 8/22
Production email - 8/18
Estimated arrival to Gupton - 10/1

Options
Trailer Tow
Both safety groups
1/2 doors w Premium uppers
Gorilla Glass
LED lighting
All weather MATS
For those tracking mine finally showed built today. Had been hung up at body vendor I would assume for the trailer tow and 1/2 doors. Took total of 13 days to build. Estimated arrival is 9/22.

My salesperson just told me that my 23 JLU Rubi Diesel has an estimated ship date of 9/16, but the pizza tracker still says this:

781F4A39-45B2-47D2-B927-70525ADC46A5.jpeg

do the dealers have more info than the tracker shows?

also, if the ship date is 9/16, when do you think it’ll arrive in Phoenix? I need to buy airfare, so I’d like as much advance notice as possible!

thanks,

Rusty
The ship date is usually the build date at least that what it was for me. My build began on the 25th which was the original date. Yes dealers have more info like what step in the build it is. The pizza tracker just says build not what part of the build.

Dealer is telling me that I am in JB status (shipped to body vendor). I expect that this is likely to get some of the XR components installed (but could also be other options I suppose). Estimated ship date is still showing 9/1, but no estimated arrival date at this point. Interestingly, I have not gotten any communications from Jeep even telling me that it entered into production.
I feel your pain. Jeep hasn’t sent me any texts or emails since my Rubi XR was put in the production queue back on Aug 1. I requested that they send me updates. My dealer said it had been built and was at the custom shop for Mopar options and XR install Aug 26. I have an estimated delivery on the tracker for Oct 12, but it has not updated since Aug 24. I’ll call my salesman tomorrow morning and I’m guessing that my Jeep has already been released to a carrier for shipment to St Louis. Tracker is toooo sllloowww!

That's cool that some Jeeps are finally showing up on dealer's lots, but I'm wondering why the trackers are lagging behind so poorly compared to the info the dealers have access to (if they check it). Rather important info for customers that still need to sell their current vehicle, make financial arrangements and/or arrange for transportation to pick up an order from hundreds of miles away.

Kinda defeats the purpose of even having a consumer-side tracker.
AMEN TO THAT!

oh dang that sucks. hope you hear something. my husband and i are buying a house from a family member so there wasnt a rush at first and i wanted to have the jeep first before redoing our preapproval for a home loan. it didnt affect us getting preapproved a year ago right after we got our grand Cherokee so they dont think it will be a problem now. but im afraid getting a mortgage right before i try and buy a car might mess it up and it would be really hard letting go of my jeep ive been waiting months for because its not like you can just walk onto a car lot and have options to choose from. id have to place another order and possibly wait months for another jeep.
You should be fine. If it were the other way around and you had just taken out a car loan and looking for a mortgage that could be different. Generally auto loans are much easier and a lot more lax than mortgages.

What's wrong with Friday build days?
I guess it goes back to people "assuming" Friday builds had more issues....end of the week, people just wanting to go home, sort of thing. Likely not a real thing with a 24x7 production line.

That was my exact thought when I saw it. Doubt that will be staying on mine.

I was told the opposite. Last year when we had just gotten a new Grand Cherokee we came across a house and didn’t think we’d be pre approved but we applied for our first home loan and we’re able to get pre approved, but got outbid and put house hunting on hold. But then we had asked if we could get pre approved for more so we’d have wiggle room and got a lot more even though we had just purchased a new Jeep. They said it’s easier to get the car first then the house because the car can be taken back easily. Doesn’t look good when you just bought a house then buy a car because that’s a lot of debt and you haven’t had any history showing you can pay for it yet.
