I ordered Earl, the Reign is a bit to dark for my tastes, and I try to be conscious of how dark my car is, cause in the summer round these parts, it's something that matters a fair bit. But I was definitely tempted by the Reign!
Mine also had a picture and now there is no picture I also ordered on the 14th got the Jeep email on the 18th call the dealership yesterday he said there’s no Vin or any other information at this time but things are moving along. And the Pizza tracker just says that the order is confirmed.
I went for the Firecracker Red. In the past 15 Jeeps I have owned they have all been either Green, Red or Yellow
I did same on my 2020 JT Rubicon bought in July IIRC and the dealer called me and he had got a 2021 JT Rubicon, this was Dec 23. He gave me almost what I had paid for it on the 2020 and I got Invoice - $1650 hold back and -$750 dealer money - $500 military on the 2020 and even tho the 2021 was more costly than 2020 by several thousand I also got great financing terms and a lower payment, I paid Invoice and got Military $500 on the 2021 plus low financing...See what you can do with the dealer. Here is what the BOSS told me, he and I worked the deal. He said my JT Rubi only had about 3k mi if that and it was a very well-equipped Rubicon, so he replaced a Rubicon Glady with another so he still had a Glady on the lot that was a Rubicon and he will sell my trade 2020 JT Rubi for almost window sticker, he wins and I win. That is how a good dealer does business. So he called personally and he had just taken delivery of the 2021 Glady and what did was flip it and a 2020 in stock.
Getting confirmation is the most important thing. You now have and order and I have been ordering Jeeps, trucks and Corvettes for the past 35+ years and I have known folks that did not get a confirmation for months. Try this on: Ordered 16 Aug 2019 2020 F 450 King Ranch, Order confirmation came in the same day as the oder, VIN the next week, production week after that. Truck did not show until 29 Jan 2021, and the Ford dealership owner called me and said he had no idea it just showed up with a set of keys still in it. The truck was lost, yes LOST, even Ford could not tell my dealer where it was at, it was due to ship in late Sept but no one could find it. We called it the GHOST.
Oh my gosh I would be so angry did you end up taking it or did you get something else while you were waiting??? I just hope it comes by November but I think that’s false hope I’m scared I just want it so bad it’s my first jeep it’s the only car I’ve ever wanted and it’s the only car I’ve ever gotten to choose I’m finally at a point where I got to pick the car that I wanted and I’m running out of patience and I know they haven’t even started building yet Lord help me ?
NO I took it, it was my company truck I already had a 2019 King Ranch its a working truck. I can identify with you, bought my first car Dec '64, 64 Corvette and NO Daddy did not buy it, he did sign for me. I grew up on a horse ranch and Daddy did pay me, $ 25 bucks a week and I had been saving my money for 10 years and had enough to put down and have a $41 buck a month car payment for 36 mo. I picked up that car over in Dallas and it was 2 days before I got back to the ranch, GOD did I love that car, drove it for 103k miles.
I got my 2019 F 450 truck in 10 days on a special order request. I told the dealer my truck is my ranch truck and if you cannot get in the next 12 days I will out of town for months on business and I will keep my 2017. The dealer put it on special priority and got it in 10. My 03 Rubicon came in fast I got it in Aug and they hit the dealer that year until Sept. I got the first Rubicon sold to the public, Rubi # 1, that is what Jeep told me...I had just finish some IT consulting work for FCA and written in my contract was actual FCA employee pricing. Good on ya for the luck of the draw.Can I just reminisce about my 2020 jeep ordering experience.
I stumbled into a dealership on a Saturday 9/21/2019. The dealer offered us invoice. It was below MSRP, so we were excited.
We got the call on 10/7/2019 that our jeep was in.
Thats 11 business days, yall.
And our jeep wasn't just a standard jeep. Its a rubicon and got all the packages and in sting-gray.
I know my experience wasn't standard. I know that will never happen to me again.
I'm prepared to wait for my new jeep.
Also, my pizza tracker is showing my jeep picture now, so thats exciting!
I'm in the same boat. Ordered two dr Willys in Sarge Green with 3.6L and manual tranny and not much else on 7/4 . VON but no VIN. "Order Confirmed" in pizza tracker
That’s insane! But this kind of gives me hope that if they were able to do it that fast maybe expecting a September delivery is reasonable though I know things are totally different now.
