Ordered my 2023 Willys 4-Door on 7/8 and I just saw that mine was also scheduled (7/29) when I checked this morning after reading some other replies! Reached out to the dealer and they got back to me with my VIN and an estimated ship date of 8/26. Though they mentioned don’t put too much stock in that ship date as once things get into transit stages, the company actually shipping the Jeep to the dealer, will provide a much more accurate ship date. The wait continues……..Build info below:

I called my dealership and I have moved from C to D status BUT there is no VIN assigned yet. My dude suspected it's because it's the 1st and it hasn't updated....hmm...
But I'm D status (maybe, probably, hopefully). ? tracker hasn't changed yet. ??????
Am I going to eAt mY pRevIoUs saRcaSm like a man? ? nOpE.

I am considering selling my 2022 Sahara I just picked up in April and ordering a Rubicon in Reign. As soon as I saw the purple, I wanted one. I know they won't be available for long, so I need to do it soon. Unfortunately you cannot get a 2023 Sahara with a manual transmission, so I don't want to order another Sahara. And the Sports and Willys do not come with an available body colored hardtop. So it is a Rubicon or keeping my Red Sahara. My wife thinks I am crazy, but that is why she married me, even if she won't admit it...

You can get the sky one touch top w/ the Sport via the sun & sound package. So that would at least get you the look of the body color hard top. Not sure if the SOT would work for you though. I personally take my hard top off all the time, so it wouldn't work for me!

7/12 order date JLU rubicon XR. vin assigned per dealer (texted them today)which is not showing on the tracker. No movement other than this. I’m not sure what the significance of having a VIN assigned is? I am hoping that means there are no issues but I would assume once the order is accepted in the system a VIN is automatically assigned right?

I could be wrong about this, but I think there are some trackers that you can use by inputting your VIN. Also, it's a step toward getting your window sticker which should confirm that the order you placed is the Jeep they are building for you.

If you're order is a 2023, nobody has a VIN showing on the tracker yet. That's because they haven't started building them yet. Once they start building that model year, the tracker will start showing the VIN's. On the 2022 orders, the tracker was updated almost immediately with the VIN's.

That is correct, however I got a VIN from my dealer, so 2023 do have a VIN it is just not on the tracker yet.

Its takes a while but you should get your VIN from the dealer by now!

Ordered my 23 on 7/9. Confirmed and got VON same day. My salesman is back from vacation tomorrow and he will give me the detailed data on scheduling/VIN/build date/etc. But this is what I ordered:

Side Steps (which are now a $95 mandatory option if you don't get the upgraded ones)
