Yes I ordered Granite Gray Rubicon 4-door and got a VIN in mid-June. I heard someone in an earlier thread got a call from Jeep to change color, but nothing from Jeep or my dealer to date.

Thanks! I checked with JC yesterday and still don't have a VIN.

Thanks for that info. I am researching my "tax liability" amount from tax returns. I am not a tax expert, for sure and trying to determine which line to look for. I am around that 10K mark you mentioned. Is 10K the minimum amount to get the $7,500 incentive or would it be $7,500 in taxes to get it?

No, you would receive a credit up to 7,500. Say your tax liability is 5,000 your credit would bring your tax liability to zero in that case so your benefit would be 5k. You wouldn’t get the remaining 2.5k in a refund. Does that make sense. The credit reduces the taxes you would owe but is not refundable, so none of the credit will become a refund to you. But the credit could create a larger refund for you based on your with holdings. Your w2 should be taking out withholding to cover your federal tax liability, i the credit of up to 7,500 reduces that tax liability and so your withholdings would now be refunded.
look at your 2021 Tax return, line 24 is your tax due. Reduce that number by 7,500. Then look at your payments, the difference of those would be your refund or remaining balance due. That would give you an idea of what your 2022 may be.

i ordered a 2023 granite crystal unlimited willys on 6/9, it said order confirmed on 6/17 on the jeep tracker website, and got my vin from jeep chat on 6/28

I originally tried to order Granite when they first opened up for orders. Next day the dealer called me back and said it wasn't allowing his manager to put in the system so I switched to Sting Gray.

I gave up finally today and bought a unit off a lot locally. Waiting since Feb with crickets in regards to movement.

Thanks me too! It just makes it so much harder to wait though seeing jeeps all day everyday at work while I’m waiting on mine

100% Seeing Jeeps of all types driving by my job each day had me humming "What it's Like" by Everlast in my head. Each and every time I saw a Jeep, I would mumble to my coworker "And you really wonder what it's like...." He thought I was losing my mind.

For everyone waiting, it seems like one they ramp up 23' production, most units moved quick during 22' except for XR package vehicles. You got this!
