I placed my order for a JLURXR on 6/22 (processed 6/23) and I hit up Jeep Chat today and got my vin. They said that my vehicle is in the scheduling phase and I should contact them again in 4 weeks or so. I asked if they knew when production was going to start for the 23’s and they said they did not know. Need it by the end of the year for tax purposes.

23 Firecracker red Rubi XR. 3.6 Tow, Lights, steel bumpers, dual top, cold weather. Ordered 6/6. Can't hardly wait. Only update thus far is VIN.

Does anyone else have a VIN for their 2023 order? When I ordered a 2022 I had a VIN in about 2 or 3 days.

It took a month to get but yes, just got it.

Kind of odd, I ordered a hydro Blue and it's showing this. This is definitely a darker blue

That's a more accurate color than the 2022 Hydro that I ordered!

I ordered a sting gray and it looks darker in the tracker versus what it looks like on the jeep website where you can build a jeep. I think the tracker's colors are just off.

Just noticed that Sting-Gray in the updated '23 online builder looks more like Billet than it did last year. I'm guessing it's just not very accurate and a worse real-life representation than it was before (didn't think that was possible, but seems so).

Jeep Chat is essentially roulette with FCA employees. When I ordered last year I got two different answers in the same day from two different employees. I was told that my Jeep was about to go into production in the morning. It didn’t make any sense because I was told the same thing 2 weeks prior to that. I checked back in later in the afternoon and was told that it was in the shipping stage. My dealer called me like 2 days later and said it just rolled off the truck. I left my office about 5 minutes later and went to pick it up.

Tax purpose?

Vehicles that have a GVWR over 6,000lb are eligible for a $25,000 tax deduction the year you buy it, if the vehicle is used for work. The Rubicon XR has a GVWR of 6,100lb. I am 1099 for both streams of income that I have. Write off’s are key to not getting your mouth torn out year in and year out by Uncle Sam.

I think the 4xe gives you a huge deduction for being PHEV. I'm no tax expert... just thought I read that somewhere.

I believe its a $7,500 tax credit.

I meant a larger depreciation percentage when used for business.
