I figured it would have given me a third way to split my time between posting here, and checking the pizza tracker every 15 minutes... :)
That's fair between the 3 trackers I checked every 15 mins and being on here barely got much work done for the last few months. Having that option I wouldn't have got anything done lol.

I know they (tracker, dealers, Jeep chat) say things like, it's being painted, or they're installing the electronics, or some of the bolts are on back order. Then they say the Jeep is waiting for a train, or waiting for a truck, or waiting for an engraved invitation to be delivered by a Royal courier. But I know the ppl at Domino's aren't actually sprinkling cheese in time with the blinking text on their tracker, either.
Wouldn't it be cool if we really could know exactly where our Jeeps are and what is happening right now? Give us something to do while we wait. I'm sure someone (or some system, more likely) is internally keeping track. Maybe it would be a lot of coding work and/or giving away a bit too much of "behind the curtain" info.
I work in production planning for a food manufacturer, and I can say there are a lot of variables from start to finish in even a simple product.

I'm not surprised that Jeep's estimates don't always pan out. I feel that pain daily. My .02 anyways.

Someone had mentioned a long while back about how nice it would be just to have a web cam trained on the assembly line. Just watching progress would have made the wait a little easier.

Hang in there. It's worth the wait.
Hoping it is. Old TJ is RIP. Burning cash on a rental while trying to guess how much it will cost when all is said and done. The factory cam would bd worth it for entertainment value.

It would be really cool if they would mount a camera some place near the jeep so you could log in and watch your jeep be built in real time. Or just sitting in some lot waiting to be shipped.
That would be pretty cool.

Having consumers micromanage and pick apart (and criticize and critique) the manufacturing process from behind their screens would definitely be a horrible aspect of being able to track the process more precisely.

What he even better is if with the camera that follows every Jeep there is a speaker attached to it so you can speak and tell the workers what to do ?

Once you get your Jeep at the dealership at it’s sitting next to a like Jeep why’s is that 2 door sitting higher than the Rubicon xr? When did they start putting bead-lock capabile wheels and 35”s on a 2 door?

We're making progress. Per @12psi the "paper hanging" is complete and the Willys is on its way to/at the Belvidere plant (?) for the body vendor. No change in any of the trackers and anticipated delivery is still 6/13, but things are happening.

Here's to hoping for a quick turn around to shipment and early delivery to Nampa, ID.
