Just over a month in shipping and it finally showed up at the dealership. We are picking it up this afternoon.
Yes! Finally!!! So happy for you… Congratulations!!

Thanks! You know when your salesman friend is calling you at 8:40am before the dealership even opens that it's either really good news or really bad news lol, there's no middle ground there.

A train derailed last night in Ohio, heading toward Pernnsylvania. At least one of the freight cars was carrying Jeeps as can be seen in this picture from the Akron Beacon Journal. And the hits just keep on coming.

I was excited to see that my tracker moved from built to shipped yesterday. Now, not so much…..

Not holding my breath! Dealer has contacted Jeep and requested an "eyes on" status update. Not sure if that will bring any news or not. :-(

I had to place a new order (due to worst dealer ever in Falmouth MA) with a new dealer. Now I can't get the Headliner for Hardtop on my order as it is "no longer available" for the 2-door JL. Does anyone have any experience with either the Bed Rug Headliner or Hot Head Headliner? Thanks!

I ordered the Hot Head headliner for mine. It got here months ago....unlike my Jeep!

OMG!! I just read 237 Brand new Jeeps being shipped towards PA were ruined in a train derailment in Ohio! ???
I think the train itself was 237 cars long. 22 train cars derailed. Some carrying Jeeps.

Mine (if it exists) is going from Ohio to Iowa as I bought from a dealer out there - so highly doubt if my Jeep is on that train, thankfully. But you never know.... :)

I sure hope you’re right. Not many options to get to the north east from Toledo without going through PA first, but I’ll stay positive. Feel really bad for the folks who’s jeeps were on the train.

Mine is still in no-man’s land. Jeep Customer Service is so nice when they tell me they have no way of determining where the order is; what the holdup is, or; when they might be able to find out anything. Dealer says they are just as much in the dark.
Meanwhile, I’m at 98 days in “C” according to the trackers.

Did you order with a discount though? I have had multiple chances for a Supplier priced MSRP or slightly above MSRP, but none with anything but my Supplier pricing. Although, they all were without exactly all my desired options. I guess to me, waiting for the deal is worth it. Also, knowing it has every option I desired is a bonus. Lastly, the custom window sticker. Just a bucket list for anyone with a car heart! Stay true! Good things come to those who wait. You can rub it in his face with the price. ;)
Eh, I appreciate the attempt at making me feel better, but the only thing that would accomplish that is if - barring some actual, logical reason (i.e. production line or tooling reasons) - Jeep would build customer orders in the order that they were received. First in, first out.

And, if there was a reason for not doing that, some transparency into the reasoning would be great. It's evident from videos of the production line that the old "color batching" theory is bunk. The "MT batching" theory seems to hold some water. What would be great is if Jeep would explain this to its most invested customers. Some basic customer relations, or some thought put into the customer experience.

As for me, I ordered under MSRP. My friend bought his new on the lot yesterday at MSRP. It's a 2022MY, and it had been sitting close to 90 days on the dealer's lot. It is exactly as he would have spec'd it if he ordered it, and exactly how I spec'd my order (except for the color... XR package and all). We're both at an earning point where a my discount isn't worth bragging about, especially when he's now going to be able to rub his in my face for the next month, or six... since Jeep can't figure out how to put new 392 orders into production...

I'm sending my Jeep to AEV directly from the factory for their JL370 conversion so, at this point, the discount on the purchase price is a drop in the bucket. The personalized window sticker doesn't really do much for me. I know some people really fawn over that, and to each their own...

I care much more about the AEV build plaque that will be going on the Jeep, which I know others could care less about (or will even laugh at behind my back). I know there are some people that will look at the AEV windshield banner on my Jeep and think "that idiot overpaid for his mods and labor. You could build that at home cheaper." They're right, you can build it at home cheaper. I know this firsthand, because I've done it.

And, they'll be the idiots that say "I gOt BeTtEr PaRtS aT fOuR wHeEl PaRtS aNd AmAzOn FoR cHeApEr." But, I'm an AEV fan, and owning a true turnkey conversion of theirs has been a vehicle bucket list item of mine.

I actually tried to buy a Sarge Green 392 AEV turnkey conversion that was optioned almost exactly like I would have optioned it (no XR package, but AEV had swapped 4.56 gears into it, and had swapped the suspension and wheels/tires), but the dealer started out negotiations at $45K over the AEV sticker of $113K... So, $158K... I laughed them off the phone. They called back (several times), and they eventually came down on the price... to $25K over the AEV sticker ($138K).

I told them I was absolutely, under no circumstances, paying additional dealer markup. They ended up selling the Jeep that weekend at $25K over AEV sticker.
