Is that for a 2023? Thought they hadn't started production yet?
Yeah a 2023. I didn’t think they had either but he was very insistent that it was not just scheduled and was “in the building.”

Again, I’m not certain if that specifically means production has started but I just know there’s a lot of movement.

Hope that's true for your sake, but we seem to be seeing a lot of conflicting "information" on this site.

I know, it’s very confusing. But I have seen a few others say they were told by their dealers anticipated ship dates so I hope that remains somewhat close.

I am stoked. I just got off the phone with my dealer who confirmed my wrangler is “being built.” When I asked to clarify if it’s scheduled or being built he said “it’s in the factory” so idk exactly what that means but he gave me an estimated ship date of 8/17.

he said not to expect 8/17 as a firm date but “the system is getting more accurate.” Like many of y’all, I’m not holding my breath but I feel like this just got way more exciting!

for reference: ordered 6/15 confirmed 6/17 scheduled 7/6
They're still building 2022s.

Your 2023 is not in the factory. If it was then your estimated ship date would not be 8/17.

Just sharing what I was told! I don’t think anyone knows for sure what is going on.

I asked my Dealer for my current letter status. He told me D1.

From what I understand, your Jeep is in production when it hits an E status for frame.

Correct, but we do know when we see things that directly conflict with our understanding of how things work.

I didn’t ask for a letter status but maybe that would be more clear.

Just ordered my 2023. Granite Crystal JLUR with LED Lighting Package, Cold Weather, and Body Color Fender Flares. My current Jeep has served me well for fifteen years, but it's time to upgrade.

I’m status C - Sub Firm, which doesn’t sound good.

Have any one order a two door with the Dual Door Group w/ Premium Uppers? My dealer tried to place my order and they were not available greyed out.

Order Accepted 6/2, just checked with Jeep chat, no VIN yet. Seems so many have VINs already. Hope I’m not in a “November 2021” situation.. 😢 trying to be brave and wait.
