I assure you that you do indeed have door handle lights at the very minimum. They ALL do.

You're also the perfect example of why they simplified it down to one dimmer. Although, I'll miss the ability to control the dash lights and ambient lights independently with our new 2023.
Well you obviously know more than I do, the owner of the vehicle.

I agree with you. If you were closer, I'd be glad to show you the feature. I've got a friend here that was also adamant that his Sport S didn't have door handle lights either. They worked great when I turned his headlights on and moved the dimmer down one notch from daytime setting.

As far as I can tell one of them doesn't do a goddamn thing on my 20 sport S. lol

Well, then, post a photo of a Sport that has the door handle illumination that you claim.

And there's no need for ad hominems here. We're discussing the matter in good faith.

Ah yes, the pics or it didn't happen guy...

I believe you mistook my intent of that comment. Stick with the idea that the dimmer that does "nothing" that actually does something.

I just went out again to the garage. With the headlights on I moved the right-hand dimmer all the way up to where the overhead lights come on. No door lights. Went down one detent, no door lights. Adjusted it all through the range to ultra dim, no door lights.

The cup holder LEDs and the mirror and lock button illumination is tied to the right hand dimmer.

If there are lights in or on the door handles, they are the dimmest damn lights ever because I do not see them. I have never seen them in 2 years of owning this Jeep either.

Can someone who has these mysterious door handle lights post up a picture of where they're supposed to be?

I found the part number for the LED for the door handle, but nothing shows exactly where it's mounted: 68297939AD

Here’s pics with the light off and on. Which you can do from the dimmer that does "nothing"

Thank you!

I do have that light, and it does come on with the headlights. However, the left-hand knob doesn't impact the brightness of it in any perceptible way. I tried the right hand dimmer in every position, and no matter what I cannot see any change in the brightness of this thing in the least when adjusting the left-hand dimmer throughout its range.

Wonder why they even bothered? It's so dim as to be useless, at least on mine. I have never even noticed that light in over 2 years of owning this Jeep.

Dimmer "Does something" just nothing of importance, was the dumbest dimmer in history.

Are tempers really flaring on a "dimmer" discussion? A little more and we're ready to move on to the mall-crawler discussion.

For 2023 owners that are frustrated with the loss of separate control on the footwell ambient lights like I am, I tried to fit the older style 2 dimmer switch and while it works for everything else, the ambient lights are still tied to one dimmer. The wiring at the connector is the same as my 2020 so I'm assuming its set in the bcm.

I didn't even know until today that I needed to be frustrated. It's a horrible way to start the new year :)
