2023 Gupton Ordering, Tracking and Delivery Reports

Got my "your order has arrived!" email from Renee today! Has anyone needed to extend out their pick up for an extra week? My 14 day pick up clock started today, but I won't be able to get up to TN until the 22nd. Figured I'd ask here first in case anyone else has had this experience. (Filling out all the paperwork and sending over my TL letter/etc isn't an issue, just the timing of pick up since it was delivered a month earlier than initially expected.) Thanks everyone!

When I asked a similar question back when I ordered Daniel mentioned that if I needed more time my option was to get Gupton the full payment and then you could pick it up whenever.

I am picking mine up this Friday and it was been almost a month since it arrived. They got a ton when mine first got there, and then during PDI they saw a spot where the windshield looked like it was delaminating. So they ordered a new one and they replaced it.

I would at least make sure to reach out to Renee and you can "confirm" it is there based on what the tracker tells you. Once she send you the Welcome email, then you can work to pull your data together, respond to that email with the info and you should get a second one asking when and what time you would like to come get it.

Just curious, did Renee reach out to you guys once the vehicle had shipped? In her fine print from the emails I received, it says “When your vehicle has been loaded on a truck and is on its way here, I will let you know.”

Just wondering if this is true since I know they’re extremely busy.

Didn't order from Gupton, but happened upon this post and it so happens that I was looking at dealer data in the Tracker, so thought I would share (since Gupton has the most entries). This shows number of Jeeps that have registered on jeeptracker.com that ordered from Gupton with a count of jeeps currently at each status.

I have that for all Jeeps in the tracker, not dealer specific. Average time between statuses is the first one, total days currently at the given status (or stuck at that status) is the second.

I ordered from Gupton. Renee emailed me Monday that my Jeep shipped and provided the delivery window. Pizza tracker and others still show mine in E status.

I didn't get an email from Renee, but I was emailing Daniel about every 3 weeks or so. During one of those exchanges, he told me when the ship date would be and was 100% spot on. Took a while for the tracker to catch up.

Yeah, I read here elsewhere, when it says "ship date" that actually means build date or something(?).

Actually looking at my tag, he said the Ship Date was the 8th of Sep, it was actually delivered on the 8th of Sept, so if we are being super technical, it most likely shipped a few days earlier.

We also know that the dealers get them batches at a time. I think it seems pretty clear that the assembly plant prioritizes those going to a certain dealer, or at least it seems that way.

I also thought I read somewhere, that it only takes a day for yours to be "built" - you can see the videos and I think a completed Jeep rolls off the line like every 13 minutes or so? Many of us, get extra stuff added and then the Jeeps go off to another area to have that stuff installed, stuffed in the back (like the half-doors or softop), or whatever. It can be a pretty quick process, especially if they are looking to fill up a truck and then it's on the way!

I ordered on 8/16 and I am still in order confirmed but not scheduled status. JLUR_XR. I did get a VIN from Daniel at about 30 days out.

In the Welcome email they send, there is a link to their financing thing. I believe in the past it was a couple of (local?) banks, but when I filled out my stuff, at the end of the link it showed a bunch of different banks/credit unions, so chances are, the information is sent out and those organizations will compete. It was a pretty painless process and was actually less paperwork than my other option (USAA).

Like anything else, the rates and terms are all unique, I am putting down a decent amount and the rate they gave me was better than what USAA offered, and I got 72 month loan too. If you got a really good credit score then I would think they could at least do that, if not better.

Mine is 5.99% and USAA was higher than that. I was prepared to use their financing and then refinance later if USAA or my bank was lower, but I plan on sticking with that. I haven't seen WHO will have the actual loan yet, but it might not matter. (FYI, I use PENFED and years ago when I bought my truck the rate was VERY low, now PENFED is stupid high, its clear they don't want the loan(s).)

I was concerned less about saving a few small points here and there and more about the banks jacking them up (whole numbers) now that all the interest rates are going up and it doesn't seem like they are coming down anytime soon. It never hurts to have your financing set up and then apply to the link that Gupton provides and see what they kind of details they can provide.

Interesting. How did you get that view? I'm wondering about the infor about Peterson's in Boise. I haven't ordered, yet, but am curious as to how active they are in the custom orders.
