been trying to find a place to run a wire harness for a set of running lights thru the firewall. can't find any access points. don't want to drill. should be a grommet or 2 somewhere. not sure if the diesel blocks these access points? can any body tell me where to look? or what the secret is?

I ran my ARB compressor wiring along the wiring harness behind the glove compartment. It comes out behind and below the battery. It's been a while but I think it was easier to access by moving the inner wheel liner back.

There’s a grommet just below the coolant reservoir on drivers side. It’s about 2” in diameter and has small tabs which help.

I used this to run my wiring for my BLUETTI Charger 1 cables and it works great for that purpose.

I am assuming that you do not have the factory AUX switches, correct? If you do, this wires are near the battery.

Have the auxiliary switches, but the light harness has a 2 position switch for high and low beams, so need to run harness with that switch.

This is what I used for my HAM radio antenna wire.

What he said. @Lp5151 picture a straight line from your left knee forward through the firewall. It’s partially blocked from view from the engine bay; I spotted it easier from below the dash
