Guys. I have a 2020 rubicon with just factory lift. I had 2.0 fox shocks put on when I bought it that I got from quadratic online. Today I noticed one leaking.
I was going to buy 2 new ones. A rear one is leaking. 80k miles. It’s asking for lift height when I order. I select 2-3 inches right? Not 0-2? Does it matter. I don’t remember having to select when I bought them.
also I have to drive down to Allentown Wednesday. Like 60 miles. I’m ok right to drive on it?

thanks so much,
Jim

I looked up the factory stock shock specifications for a 2020 Jeep Rubicon. They are approximately 16 inches compressed and 24 inches extended.

Do the fox shocks offer the compressed & extended specifications?

Note: I want to say 0-2" but I'm not sure.

I was going to say the same but when I went to extreme something. Can’t remember. It had me put in my year and model and it said 2-3 inch for the 2020 rubicon 4 door.

I would really try to find the measurements if you can. Dont hold me to it but I think returns with extreme terrain, I believe you pay shipping and a restocking fee.

I’ll get them from quadratic online anyway. I used there to see what they said fit. When I get home I’m going to look at the specs also.

I ordered 2 new ones. Hopefully I get them by wednesday to take em in with the jeep. Its going in for new tires and my auto start stop isn't working. I know I should actually be happy about that but I just want to make sure there isn't anything larger going on. I figure it's a old aux battery, but who knows. Thanks for help last night.

I’ve run the Fox 2.0’s for a stock height JL Rubicon. It’ll say 0-2”. That’s what you’ll need.
Perfect so I know I’m right then. They say 0-1.5 inch. Next choice is 2-3 inch. Thanks everyone for the help. My buddy was suprised the one was leaking. I didn’t think 80k miles almost was bad for a shock?

I don't want to beat a dead horse but the graphics on my 4 year old shocks are different. I know they were the basic after market ones. They say performance services. Look exactly the same. They aren't the larger diameter ones from jeep for their lift kit. I bought these on my own. I'm fine right since I am not replacing the front from 4 years ago right. I assume they just changed the outside graphics. Sorry for the stupid a^% question.

Did you buy this Jeep new? Did it have red or aluminum body shocks?

I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but I just dropped my kids off to go skiing and when I came back, I checked my rear one again just to see if it was still leaking, but then I noticed a puddle in the front underneath one of my front shocks on the same side and that one’s all leaking grease now too

Just buy Fox 2.0 0”-1.5” lift shocks to replace them. Best price is from Fox on Amazon for a full set.
that's what I did. I got 4 new ones. All good to go!

I appreciate this from as always for the help! It is great forums like this still are active to help put us Jeepers!
