Ok since you guys were such a big help with the shocks I wanted to throw around some opinions on why my auto start stop isn’t working all winter and now it is again on and off
80k miles. I think both batteries were changed at 35k cause I was getting a low aux battery message on dash and the auto start stop was working on and off.
batteries replaced. Good to go.
now since this winter which was very cold it started to act up and just not work at all. Now it’s warm again and suddenly it’s working again on and off. Not 100 percent of the time.
it’s going in Wednesday for tires but also for thst issue.
does it sound like a battery issue?
is it because the transmission was trying to heat up when really really cold so that took over vs the auto start stop working?
I have a friend who also has a Jeep same year as mine and she said no issues all winter.
can I possible have another issue going on with a stat not working properly or something else?
Just wanted to have some education before I hit the dealership.
thanks so much,
Jim
