It was for JL’s built between Oct. 30/17 - Oct. 8/18. Mine was built Dec. 2017. But it wasn’t for a dead spot. It was for hard steering in cold temperatures. Some had it performed for the dead spot anyway and it helped, why?, who knows, programs and computers, go figure. I talked with the service manager about it and he looked into and could only find this TSB and tried it. Didn’t completely cure the dead spot but it did make it ‘smaller’ and better. It only takes .2 - .3 hr.
