Hi all...

So I purchased a 2019 JLU Moab in July and an issue has appeared twice that is concerning. The first time occurred the week I got it and it happened again last night. When driving, both in cruise control and without, at highway speeds and below, the engine feels like it is missing out. The best I can describe is like the feeling that I am smoothly driving along at 70 mph then the brakes slightly engage intermittently. It is like it is missing out and jerking. Of course this morning I hit the freeway to work and all is well.

Any ideas??

thanks!

I felt this before on a few long road trips. It really freaked me out, although just because it was strange, not because it was dangerous. But like you, it also happens randomly and hasn't done it since.

I wonder if it is some sort of brake pad/rotor maintenance thing. The manual says the Jeep will pulse it's brakes occasionally if it is raining to keep water off of them and reduce stopping distance, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that it does it every X miles for some reason too.
Or the software is just buggy. Who knows.
