Hi, my JLRU's touchscreen just started not responding, only some areas work, mainly the bottom middle area. I have power cycled the car a couple of times, but it is still not responding.

Any suggestions?

You can try a hard reset by disconnecting the battery, but if the screen is going out, then that likely won't help (can't really hurt either).

Otherwise, it may be time for a dealership trip, especially if you're still under warranty. I'd be prepared to hear that a new head-unit will be needed, and that they're on back order. That seems to be the way of things.

Otherwise, if you're a diy type, you may be in the position of pulling the head unit and confirming that the screen is properly connected/not damaged, etc. There's a few write ups on taking apart the screen and head units (8.4 version at least) to replace the AirCard out there. You could ebay a replacement screen. Just be aware if you replace the entire head unit, then you'll need to update Sirius and such with the new IDs for your VIN.

OR you could look at upgrading to an aftermarket unit. That's of course $$$, but there are some cool aftermarket options out there that add more features, etc.
