Hey all, new Jeep owner here. I have a 2018 Wrangler JL Sahara and the touchscreen isn’t responsive. Still works when I use the physical buttons, but just not the screen. Any ideas? I’ve tried pressing and holding the power and tuner buttons for 10-20 sec, but doesn’t seem to do anything. I did put my VIN into the UConnect website and see there is a software update from 2019 that was never installed. Should I do that? TIA.

You might try pulling the fuse for it first (not sure which one offhand). You can try the update but I seriously doubt it will fix your issue. You may have to replace the unit. Plenty of threads of decent after-market units.

If you have to replace it try replacing just the screen ($350) not the whole unit ($$$).

Alright, figured it out. Turns out it was only when I connect my phone via Bluetooth. As soon as I disconnected it, the touch screen works again. I can still plug my phone in via usb to connect to CarPlay with it working. Strange, but that seems to be the culprit! Thanks all.
