Do we have any information on the advanced safety group other than that it includes adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning? Any other features that are 100% confirmed?

In looking at the order guide it appeared to me that the regular safety group is a prerequisite of having advanced safety group. Is this correct?

Looks like there is a slightly different system for auto trans (w/stop) and the manual (enhanced)

You need to read the Jeep Customer Preferred Code Guide closely. Are you grabbing a 2 door or 4 door. It breaks down everything pretty well and helps clarify features that are stackable or not, or included with other packages. I used that to build exactly what I wanted and qualified the codes with the spreadsheet and with those two pieces of paper got a over 6% off invoice locally. They sent me a screenshot of of the actual order in the systems an hour later. Process took 30-45 minutes.

Thanks. 4 door. I skipped over that part and focused on the pricing pages (8-10). I see it now.

I sent out email quote requests last night to about a half dozen local dealerships (Houston market) and I've already gotten 3 quotes back, 2 of them at 6% under invoice with no fees and one that was just a hair above invoice price. Hoping to get the dealership close to me to play ball but I have a feeling they won't be competitive, we'll see. Neil at DeMontrond came in at 6% under invoice, no fees, plus lifetime power train warranty. Mark at River Oaks was $350 less but no offer of power train warranty.

Good work. One thing that was getting me twisted was my duplicating options on the spreadsheet I didn't need based on options available in other packages and that in turn was driving up the price. Before I had even went in, they built it out in the system and emailed me a copy. I just double checked the codes making sure they matched. Sounds like you are right there! I had to pay the $199 fee but I am fine with it. My time is worth more than the having to run around and I didn't want to chance having to wait 6 months due to not being early enough on ordering. Its super refreshing landing a good dealership. Hoping you get the best deal possible. :like:

I placed an order with Neil at DeMontrond today. It’s hard to beat the lifetime power train warranty. Also there are no fees and no deposit required.

Yep. I’d seen a few posts some months back that he wasn’t as responsive as the poster would have liked. I sent out emails after close of business last night. He returned my email with a no nonsense quote this morning. I replied with a question about the lifetime power train warranty and he got me the info quickly. He followed up with a voice mail telling me that he’s ready to put in the order, no deposit or fees. I just have to give him the go ahead. Simple so far.

My only thing when I was talking to Neil was that he didn’t want to discuss anything about my Challenger that I plan on trading. Some dealerships will do pictures and give you a good estimate of your trade in value it he said he wouldn’t discuss it until I had it there in person. I heard that they tend to lowball trades and I would hate to order, go in to get it just to find out I’m getting screwed on my trade (we are getting stationed back stateside next year and I plan on grabbing a new Wrangler ASAP! I have a 17 Scat Pack Shaker Challenger with all the bells and whistles with less than 8k miles on it)

Sell the car yourself and get what it’s worth. Trade in will be a few thousand lower than a private sale. I don’t think I’ve ever traded in a vehicle when buying a new one.

I went https://www.leessummitchryslerjeepdodge.com/ La’Mont Johnson and Clint Phillips. Anyone in KC that’s close give them call. They are competitive with anything and everything I’ve seen online. If you tell them Brandon recommended you they’ll know what you’re working with and what you expect to pay.

Yup ordered from Neil today. He didn't want to deal with mopar accessories or mopar extended warranty or even ballpark a trade-in. Recommended I get quote from CarMax or similar. I'll get quotes from a couple places and see what they offer but I can always do private party too. Anyone want a Mk7 VW GTI? Haha.
