Heater blows out hot on the driver side, cold air on the passenger side.

If you hold the temperature adjustment button and sweep all the way from LO to HI and back, can you hear the change in air flow on the passenger side or no?

I’ll have to check that tomorrow. My son is driving it now. But I’ll definitely check and reply. Thanks

Ok. Still trying to figure out this heat system problem. It’s not any if the 3 actuators, they’re all working. It seems like they do whatever they want to do, not what you set them to do. I’m thinking it’s a problem with either the radio or the control panel under the radio since both of those can adjust the settings. Uconnect website says all the updates are already installed on the radio. Surely someone else has had this problem.

Don’t care. Reflash it.

And by reflash it, I mean take it to the dealer and make them fix it.

If software doesn’t fix it, the control head is bad.

Ok. Is this a known problem they have with these Jeeps?

I’m asking, has there been a recall? It’s hard to deal with any dealership unless it’s a recall item.

At one point in time on the early JL’s up to mid 2019 there was an issue with the passenger side blend door actuator. Not sure if that relates to your issue. Easiest as mentioned would be the software update if it’s applicable to your situation.

No recall that I have ever seen that doesn’t relate to a vehicle safety issue only. Otherwise it would fall under a TSB.

Recalls are for safety failures only. Your specific vehicle has a specific problem. You can’t fix it yourself. It has to go in.

Ok. Thanks y’all. I’ll contact the dealership tomorrow. I can watch the actuators move as I change the settings, but they don’t move every time, just sporadic. And the heat blows out on the drivers side, cold air on the passenger side. I can change the position from floor to vent, sometimes it’ll move but sometimes it won’t. It’s like they’re all in a confused state. Lol. At least I’m in one.

If you’ve got dual zone climate control, do you have one side set cooler than the other? Stupid question, I know, but could be something obvious that was overlooked.
