After replacing the aux battery i no longer have a horn, it does not work when using horn on the wheel, locking or with alarm. Could things have just not reconnected properly. Horn seems to be the only thing not working. Fuse is good, but i dont see any power when testing at the horns. Is there a relay for the horn? if so which one because it has not been made obvious. Im at a loss here and cant find much info online. Id really hate to take it to shop if its something im just overlooking. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm sure you did already, but I'd double check and make sure a wire isn't disconnected somewhere or a fuse isn't fully seated.

Yes i did check everything from the horns back as far as I could and even with a good fuse swapped it anyways. Without knowing which relay is for the horn I guess my next test is to pull everything out back to the aux battery and reconnect. maybe i didnt get something just right.

Sounds aggravating! Please post back when you nail it down, I'm curious.

I finally found the problem. When changing my auxiliary battery the wire that connects to the fuse box from the harness is more than way too short and it had come disconnected. After adding a little extra length and recrimping my horn and alarm are working again.

I just encountered the same issue after replacing my aux battery. Everything worked fine except for the horns. I checked the fuse and tested the power at the horn cable both looked fine. But the horn is not working. Could you explain exactly which wire under the fuse box came off the harness or which location? Did you find power signal when you tested the horn cable on the grill when the issue happened first?

It's possible that things just didn't reconnect normally after the battery replacement, so I'd suggest checking all the connections to make sure everything is tight and secure. And yeah, there should be a relay for the horn, but I'm not sure which one it is. You might have to do some digging to find that out.

If you're still at a loss, you could try posting on some Jeep forums or Facebook groups to see if anyone else has experienced similar issues. And if all else fails, it might be worth taking it to a shop to have them take a look.

Here's a simple fun fix for you...

(I mean realistically you can install any aftermarket horn, but this one's so much more fun!!)

I visited a shop today and they confirmed all fuses are working fine. I will have it checked by a diagnosis system maybe would find something else but thanks for the advise I'll post a new topic.
