I recently bought myself a set of the Falcon aDapt piggyback 3.3 shocks for Christmas. I spent a day and a half removing parts of the interior to do an extra clean job running all the wiring. Now that everything is done I pulled the stock shocks (found out one was actually bad at 15k) just to realize that I must have mistakenly ordered a set for a 4 door, when I have a 2 door. I thought I ordered for a 2 door but there was obviously an error on one end. But now I’m deep in the project and not sure what to do. I don’t know if the difference is only internal or what. They look like they would bolt up but I didn’t even try in case they have to go back. Both the retailer where I bought them and the manufacturer are closed for the holidays/New Years so I can’t contact anyone there. Looking for some advice.

I recommend calling them up and ask for an exchange in just the shocks. Otherwise the valving is going to be very stiff.

Difference between 2 dr vs 4dr is only like 400 lbs. Being an adjustable shock, I think you are fine and exchanging wouldn't be worth the trouble. Myself I've always liked a soft spring and heavy shock on my 4x4's. Advice from Falcon would be paramount.

Those were my thoughts also. I decided to postpone the project until I hear from them, hopefully tomorrow, but I'm sure they'll be backed up with messages from over the long weekend.

For the 2 door VS 4 door difference on the Falcon shocks I can help shed some light on the subject. The front shocks between the 2 door part numbers and 4 door part numbers are the same shocks, no changes. However the differencing comes from the 4 door rear shocks, where as the rear shocks have a slightly adjusted/tweaked valve coding for the extra weight of the 4 door/Unlimited vs the 2 door being a tad "softer" in comparison. Fitment wise both bolt up the same, the only difference is the 4 door rear shocks being valved a tad firmer for the extra weight.
