Hmmmm that’s promising, if you saw actual invoices. The plot thickens!

I'd wager good money those are JLU invoices. My understanding is that FCA can't invoice dealers until a vehicle is built and released for shipping and 2drs are not in production.

Can confirm-our most recent update was that the 2 door was planned to go into production the beginning of April. However, this date is tentative and has been changing a lot recently. We were waiting to have a more firm date and solid information to update everyone on.

So, I ordered a 2 door hardtop JL the day after Thanksgiving last year. Most likely, I'll take delivery in the middle of the model year at this point. Has anyone heard of any updates or modifications they are throwing in the production mid-year for all the loyal, patient, jeep buyers? Or any grades they have as they are close to the 19 model year?

Ordered 2dr Rubi V6 Auto 3xSilver on 1-18 order date became 1-22 received von & vin 1-24.
Won't accept 2019, BSG, price increase or more than 8 miles old.
I don't believe any public 2drs are out yet or anything I'm told by Jeep chat.

Jeep just gave us a gift for waiting, the 2018’s will not be getting the advertised off-road pages, only 2019 model on up.

So I just got my first opportunity to sit in a brand spanking new 2018 black JLU Rubicon and I don't fit!!!!! It just is not anywhere as roomy as Ole Yeller so I told Patrick (Sales Manager) to cancel my 2 door Rubicon order. Guess I'll be buying something else...LOL!

I find it hard to believe that. I don't even see the 4cyl. turbo as an option on Jeep's website, and if it were more people would be going with the V6. I too am anxiously waiting on a Rubi.

How did this timeline come about? Supposedly it came from FCA, but by who? Why would this posted timeline be any more valid then all of the other incorrect, vague and untrue data we’ve received all along?

Not only will we be late getting them, now they have dropped the off road pages from Uconnect till the 2019 models!
