Just got an email from my dealer. Moved back to C from D. No surprise.

My dealer just texted me they reviewed all the their incoming Jeep orders coming in this month and said mine (2dr HT 6spd Rubi) was on the list. I know that’s probably not possible.

Jeep has officially communicated to dealers 4/9 for Job 1 status of 2 doors. Expect all existing orders to be D and D1 until then.

Oh trust me, I had myself alllll kinds of worked up about the delay & the wait a couple weeks ago. As of April 14th, I'll be without a car when I have to turn my lease in. Ahhhhhh!!! But then I realized oh well, not worth the stress. It won't make the production go any faster. I'm doing my best to stay positive & having one hell of a good time here in the forums.

I should say my dealer (the owner) emailed me saying he received the statement from Jeep. The way he phrased it made it sound like it was a mass communication to all dealers regarding the status but I could be wrong. They own a bunch of dealerships here in Houston including multiple Jeep/FCAs.

I did a little internet search on Autotrader to find 42,947 new Jeep Wranglers listed at any distance. Then chose 2 door and got 7,248. Did the same search on Cars and got 44,218 and 7522. Regardless of other criteria it kinda tells the story of most popular.

Crazy that’s like a 6:1 ratio 4 doors / 2 doors
